* SIX MONTHS LATER*

it's been six whole months since i've seen the love of my life. in the beginning, we would facetime each other everyday. and not a minute would go by that we didn't receive a message from each other.

it's different now. we still text and facetime, but it's less frequent. both of us have been very busy, and haven't had time to visit each other. keeping a long distance relationship is hard, but me and chandler have been doing a pretty good job.

today is his birthday, and he thinks that i am currently busy with work. but i'm actually here in atlanta, outside his house, ready to surprise him.

i hold onto the giant, white bear and the big birthday sign very tightly. "i can't believe i'm going to see him again." i whisper to myself, the biggest smile on my face. i knock three times on his door, and wait a few seconds, yet get not response. i knock once again, and still nothing.

so i jiggle the doorknob, and realize that it's open. oh chandler, he's always forgetting everything.

i quietly open the door and slip into his house, closing the door behind me as discretely as possible. "chandler?" i whisper out, but he doesn't reply. maybe he isn't home? well he told me he was gonna be home this whole week because he had no work. he probably went out to eat or something.

as i'm about to walk out the door, i hear the faint noise of the tv turn on. ah, chandler is here. "oh my gosh, my baby's probably playing his video games again." i tell myself, giggling slightly.

i run up to his room quietly, and stand outside his closed door. i am so ready to see chandler again. "ok, one..two..three." i open the door and yell out "surprise!"

but my smile quickly drops, and the poster slips from my hand. "abbie! w-what are you doing here?" chandler exclaims, removing himself from the half-naked girl below him. the girl quickly covers herself up.

"you have a girlfriend? oh you jerk!" the stranger says, running out of the room and apologizing as she passes by me.

chandler looks at me with pleading eyes, and steps slowly towards me. "baby i can explain." he starts off, but i just shake my head.

"you bastard." is all i say, then throw the teddy bear to his face and rush out of the room. i don't let the tears fall until i know i'm far away from him, already inside my car. i start it up and quickly drive away. i see chandler in the corner of my eye, trying to chase after me. but that wouldn't change anything.

chandler is a liar, a cheater, and i can't believe i ever fell for him. the tears slip from my eyes in a rapid speed, blocking all of my vision. i wipe a small tear away as my lip trembles as i whisper, "i guess there is no such thing as always."
