My previous opinion was on the non-ambidextrous Rake, and this one shall be on the Rake. Why not keep it while I can?
Take note that I haven't read the Rake's story in a while because he was one of my first, so my facts might be a bit off, and I apologize if that occurs.
In fact, how about I just ask you if I have the basics right?
So, it is something about a man who always heard a scratching noise in his closet at night, until he realized it stopped, only to look over at his 'wife' and see this tall, humanoid creature with thin limbs and claws protruding from his hand.Am I correct?
Well I assume I am incorrect, but there are so many depictions and stories of the Rake so here I'll just link you to the main information if you want to check it out

The Rake is actually kinda original to me, because he came before a lot of the others, so chances that the humanoid creature idea was popular and overused is kinda slim.
And there is a lot of evidence to backup originality.
The originality of the character does add some kudos points on his side, but he is not as lucky as BOB was and sadly I do not really favor this ugly garden tool.
There isn't really a base story I can suggest for you to read, as there are plenty interpretaions and depictions of this handy tool for scraping leaves, so just... find a story that you decide on. I can't control your decisions, I just don't suggest ol' Rakey here, but that still isn't me saying "DON'T READ ANYTHING ON THIS FUCKING FGT OR ELSE" I am saying "I wouldn't suggest this character, but you can check it out if you want."
