There is no story to Kate. You can infer one from Slender: The Arrival, but there is no appropriated story. She is basically your friend who got taken by some spooky scary skeletons and then became a vicious businesswoman who camps out in the mines and sp00ks you with claws of Bruce Lee.
You can literally say that's her story, because the only real thing you can know is she was chased into the woods by Slendy and ended up being turned into Kate. Everything else you can manipulate because fuck life you need creativity to live.
There is no true thing I can say, so I don't know why this is an opinion, but I can base it off of her actions in the game.
She's just an added jumpscare. There is no death. She is like the Phantom's in FNAF 3; she just leaves you vulnerable to death. She doesn't kill you.
And she is a vampire, obviously, because she'll stay away if you flash your dic- I mean light at her.
Truthfully, there is not much to opinionate on her.
I could have done this on Jane.
But why make sense when you can NOT make sense?
