"How long til they wake up?" The first man asked.
"Well, you gave Kara some heavy drugs. When she wakes up she's going to be a mess. As for the Y/N girl, anytime now." The second said.

I sat there groggily, my mind a hazing mess, as I blinked, looking down at my lap.
I refused to look up, as it would mean they knew I was awake.
I heard the two leave the room, using that as an opportunity to look around.
Kara had her hands tied around a pole, ankles tied together.
There were bruises around her neck, as well as a line of blood, from what seemed like a needle wound.
They had indeed drugged her.

Her necklace was still on, which meant they clearly didn't want any money.
They knew who I was. This confirmed my suspicions. People wanted me.
I hadn't the slightest clue why, but the man had mentioned Minji.
Just how the hell did he know about her?

Kara let out a small groan, as she raised her head.
"It's too bright." She whined, as her eyes caught mine.
Her pupils were extremely diluted, as she blinked. "Oh hello."

"Kara they drugged you, don't say anything stupid." I whispered.
"Who did what now?" She scowled.
"These men drugged you. Don't fuck around, they have guns." I said, as she looked around.
"Yeah well I have one too! Although I don't think I can reach it." She mumbled, looking down.
"Definitely not." She sighed.

The men came back in.
"Well, good morning lovelies." He smiled.
She looked up at him.
"So you're the druggie then." She said.
The man looked down at her, laughing to himself.
"Just how much did the idiot give you? You're doped out, Kara. You're not going to remember any of this. This is going to be fun." He smiled, kneeling in front of her.

"I'm fine, why does everyone keep saying I'm high." Kara slurred, looking at him with wide eyes.
He traced his fingers along her thigh, until he reached below the hem of her skirt.
I saw her biting at her lip, as she looked down.

"Please don't." She asked, her voice barely a whisper.
"You won't remember a thing, darling, so why does it matter?" He grinned, his hand going further up.
"Dickhead, back off!" I yelled, as he turned slightly.

"Why are you protecting her, Y/N? Or should I say Minji. I don't even know at this point. Do you know who Kara is?" He asked.
"I know her well enough to make sure strangers don't stick their dirty fingers anywhere near her." I scoffed.
He was right, though. I had no idea who Kara truly was, but she wasn't thinking straight, and I didn't need to see her be assaulted when I could do something about it.

He turned back to Kara, only for her to hit her head against his.
"Go away!" She half yelled, her voice slurring.
He narrowed his eyes, as she gripped at her hair, pulling her up.
"You're going to listen to me, darling. I'm going to do whatever I desire with you, then I'll sell you back to your friends for a pretty stack of cash, got it? I can do a lot worse things than sticking my hand in your pants." He scoffed, slamming her head against the pole, before he walked out the room.

She just looked down at the floor, and honestly, I thought they had knocked her out.
"Who's Minji?" She asked.
"Me." I responded.
"But you're Y/N?" She said, looking at me filled with confusion.
"I am also Minji. I have DID." I explained.

"Explain it to me when I don't feel like I'm floating." Kara said, before she chuckled.
"This reminds me of when I was young. Except Mum and Dad were covered in blood, right in front of me. That was a horrible, horrible day." She rambled.

"I remember when I was dragged out the hall by this evil man, I saw another child walking away with someone. I was going to call out to them, but I refrained. After all, who would want to help me? I clearly was weak."
"I still am. Look at me, I got us in this situation because I didn't want to scare you away." She said, sobs hiccuping in her throat.
"My friends aren't going to come. They hate me. Lee Know wants me dead, Gabs wants me gone. Fuck, I thought me and Felix had something but now I'm not allowed to talk to him."
Tears rolled down her cheeks, and I wished I could hug her.

"Look, Kara, that's not true." I said. "We're in this because of me. Someone will come, I'm sure."

"Yeah, for you. You're worth so much." Kara frowned.

There were a lot of bangs, crashes, and what I presumed was gunfire coming from outside.
I flinched as I heard a banging on the door, and as it crashed down, I saw worried eyes flicker to me, and then land straight on Kara, as he ran over.

"Kara I was so worried, seriously you can't do this. From now on I'm staying with you, okay?" Jimin said, fiddling with the ropes around her ankles and hands.

"Jiminie, some man touched me." She started, her head slumping forward.
He frowned, pulling her into his arms.
"Where?"
She pointed at her thigh. "Here," she started, trailing a finger up her leg, until she reached the waistband of her pants, "to here. Y/N's safe, she wasn't touched." She said, her voice thick.

Jimin looked at me.
"Y/N, do you have any idea what they gave her?"
I shook my head. "No, but they injected it into her neck. You can see the mark."
He placed her against the wall as he came to help me, looking me in the eyes.

"We work as undercover detectives. There are police here helping us. You're safe now. You can come back to our house whilst yours is being fixed." He said, helping me to stand.
Jungkook came rushing into the room, pushing Jimin aside to look at me.
"Thank the gods you are okay. Come on, let's get going."
I nodded as he held onto me, walking me out to the car.

Jimin followed behind, Kara in his arms.
She had her arms wrapped around his neck, as she kept trying to touch his face.

"You've got very pretty lips." She whispered.
"Kara, please, stop flirting with me." He responded with a sigh, as he placed her into the car, more close to a van, really, next to me.

"You're cute though, how can I help it?" She grumbled, staring down at her feet.

"Well you're high, and I don't want you to do anything you're going to regret." He said simply, as Jungkook drove us away.
When we arrived at their house, I was amazed.
It was a huge mansion, wrought iron gates surrounding the whole land.

Jungkook took me aside, to show me around.
"This is Namjoon's place. His family is hella loaded, but they're away at the moment so we've been crashing here." He explained.
"I'll show you to your guest room."
He showed me to an empty bedroom, the walls painted a pale brown, the sheets crisp on the large queen bed that filled one corner of the room.
It had its own bathroom, a walk in robe and a desk in one corner, and other vanities on the other side.

"Taehyung is going to get Ji Woo to crash here, too. Her room will be next to yours. You're free to leave at any time, but this is all for your safety." Jungkook smiled.
"Thank you." I said, giving him a hug. "For coming, you know."

He rubbed my back, before he pulled away to look at my face.
"Of course. You're my friend, I'll always come to help."

He left me look at the room in more detail, as I was in awe.

Further away in the house, Kara refused to let go of Jimin.
"What if he comes and takes me again?" She whispered into his chest.
Jimin really hoped she couldn't hear the thumping of his heartbeat, as it almost pounded out of his chest.
"He won't, Kara. I killed him." Jimin responded.
Kara looked up to him with doe eyes, and all he could look at was her lips.

How badly he wanted to kiss her right now.

"Can I say something?" She asked.
Jimin nodded. "Of course."

She reached up and gave him a peck on the lips.
"I always thought you were hot."

Something clicked in Jimin's head, despite knowing that he would regret this later, he pushed her down onto the bed, flipping her beneath him, as he connected his lips to hers.

"I hate what you're doing to me." He whispered between kisses, as she lay beneath him.
"You're breaking me, Jimin." She whispered back, looking into his eyes.
