A/N and before I knew it we were at part sixty.. man I'm starting to think I should split this into two books- be honest, is it getting boring?

Jimin sighed at the phone screen. Y/N must have overheard.
He would have a word with her afterward, as he hit the call button, Felix picking up on the first ring.

"So, I'm assuming a little birdie told you I was behind the phone." Jimin said, stepping out the room.
Kara had noticed, but what could she do?
Her tongue felt thick, and just trying to raise an arm took it all out of her.
So she laid there and stifled her cries. Even crying was hard.

"Suppose the little birdie did. Why." Felix asked.
"Well, as you're aware both of our teams have a common goal. In normal circumstances we would team up, but of course this Y/N case is difficult." Jimin started, locking himself into his room.
"What does she have to do with it?" Felix asked.

"Well, there's no point in hiding it. Y/N will snitch anyway. Kara's been poisoned." He said bluntly.
Felix went silent for a minute. "Why? Are you sure?"
"Oh Jin is completely sure. Someone broke in through her window, slipped in, poisoned her and left. It's killing her brain, Felix, so we're going to save her. It's going to take Jin at least a week to make something to cure her, and that's assuming she'll live." Jimin explained.
"Let me come see her." Felix asked, as Jimin heard shuffling on the other end of the line.
"Ah, how can I be sure this isn't your groups way of getting her back? There is one clear goal here- they want to get to someone through Kara. Unless she has an enemy who would go to such lengths to kill her, which wouldn't surprise me, they're trying to get to us. Either you, me, our teams, or Y/N. Whoever they are, they're playing their cards well." Jimin said, glancing out the window.

"We can help you. Both Stray Kids and BTS want her healthy, do we not?" Felix asked.
"Stay out of it, please. We can save her just fine. I'll send you the footage anyway. But do not come here. We've got it sorted."

With that Jimin hung up, tears welling in his eyes.
He was scared. That was the first time he truly was in ages.

Days passed, and Kara didn't get any better.
She didn't get any worse, either.
Hyunjin knew. He told me he did, and he asked me to keep his friends updated if anything changed.
It made sense, really. They had been friends for years, and it was only natural.

"Hyunjin, why don't you just come over and check on her yourself?" I asked.
He shook his head. "I don't really get along with Jungkook and his friends, if you hadn't noticed."
"I could bring you in." I offered.
He smiled at me, ruffling my hair.
"That would be nice, but no, it's okay."
He pulled me into a hug, and as I felt him touch my lower back, I winced.

Me and Jungkook had been training almost every night for the past week, so I was sore all over.
But my back stung like crazy, and I knew it was bruised.
So as Hyunjin raised a brow, he spun me around, lifting the back of my shirt up.

"Who did this?" He asked.
"I've been doing some combat training with Jungkook. You know, incase people like that guy come after me..." I trailed.
Hyunjin sighed. "I could've helped train you. Is he just flipping you every chance he gets?"

I shrugged. "More or less."
"What sort of stuff have you been doing?" Hyunjin asked.
"Only like, defence stuff to do with guns. Like how to take it from someone. Hence the flipping." I sighed.
Hyunjin scoffed. "He's older than me but he's an amateur. I'll do you one better- I'll teach you how to throw a punch. Because that, my dear Y/N, is more important. Not everyone has a gun, and in the moment, not everyone has the guts to take it when the barrel is against your head." He smiled, pecking my forehead before the bell rang.
"Ah! Well, lunch is over. Tomorrow. I'll teach you then."
