Kara just stared blankly, Jimin's eyes betraying nothing.
He rolled his eyes, leaning over her as he unplugged her seatbelt, pulling her from the car."How many times to I have to ask, fuck." He hissed, pulling her into the bush beside the road, until they reached a wall, separating the houses from the bush intersection.
He pushed her against it, face mere inches from her as she just stared in shock.
In honestly, Kara was terrified.
"Stop whining, would you? You were unhappy, so why still be unhappy? We came to help you, not make you feel fucking worse. You need to learn to put yourself first, okay? That's what you've done here. I know it hurts at the moment, but with time it'll get better. What did Gabs message you." He asked, his nose almost touching hers.
Kara let out a shuddered breath. "They all think I'm a traitor.."
Jimin tutted. "They're the ones who betrayed you. All for some stupid mission over kidnapping one irrelevant person. It's okay, and it'll be okay. I don't think you're a traitor, and nor do the boys, or our other allies. You're just taking care of yourself, okay?" Jimin said, smiling slightly, as he pulled the girl into a hug.
She froze up, before relaxing her shoulders, hugging him awkwardly back.
She was so fucking confused. Why the hell did he care for her so much? It just didn't make any sense to her.
Within the next week, things changed.
Less of Hyunjin's group showed up, but then they started coming back. Then on a Tuesday, something odd happened.
Kara came back. It was as if she never left. She picked up her classes and assignments well.
The only difference was that she sat with Jungkook's group.
She was especially attached to Jimin.Sitting with Hyunjin, the boys and Gabs, I could tell that made them uncomfortable.
"How come she's sitting with them?" I asked.
"We had a huge fight. It was over something very stupid." Gabs spat through her teeth.
Han rubbed her back.
"Pretty much. It's just normal friend arguments. Although, I don't know if this can be mended." He sighed.I looked around.
"Felix still not feeling better?" I noted."Oh no he's here. He's just studying. Catching up on all the stuff he missed." Hyunjin explained.
I watched as Kara excused herself from their table.
Jimin grabbed onto her wrist, whispering something before she shook him off, and left."I don't know why her and Jimin are hanging out, he's an asshole." Gabs said,
"He doesn't seem too bad." I noted.
She just rolled her eyes. "Oh please, he's one of the biggest assholes you'll meet."As Kara wandered off to the bathrooms, she quickly fixed her make up, before locking herself in a stall for the sake of it.
Things were so thick, and the air was tense.
She also hadn't seen Felix in ages.
She missed his touch, and his smile.
She just missed being around him.Seeing Gabs was killing her, too.
She could see how angry Gabs was with her, and she knew it would take a lot of apologising to help fix their relationship. They were all ignoring her.
Maybe she should have left her original note as it was.Blame them and not me. I should've warned you. I'm sorry. I'm sorry if they hurt you.
But in that she was playing the victim.
But she was nowhere near it.As she left the bathroom, she was pulled aside, a hand over her eyes as she was pulled behind an old demountable.
As they moved their hand away, all she could see was how hurt they were.
"Felix.." She whispered, tears forming in her eyes.
He kept his hand around one of her wrists. He was tearing up too, as he wiped his eyes.
"Why.. Kara just why.. we could've fixed everything." He started, pulling his hand away as he sobbed.
"If you had told us, we could've fixed it. Why did you turn to them, why." He said, looking to her with swollen eyes."Felix I tried talking to Bang Chan, but he said it was the boss's orders.." She said, stepping forward to hug him, but she pulled herself away.
He just looked at her, before laughing dryly.
"Why do I care.. gosh I'm clingy. I'm sorry, it's just been hard. You're my closest friend other than Chan, and I've missed you."She chuckled sadly. "Yeah, I've missed you too."
"Come back with us then. Please." Felix pouted."I can't, Lix." She said, switching back.
"Look, don't tell the others, but at the moment I'm investigating their resources to make a plan to get our target, Y/N, without any fallbacks. I need Taehyungs schedule with Ji Woo, which is exactly what I can get."Felix just chuckled. "Of course you're working. You big dummy. Are they treating you well?"
"I have my own room. Not a white room, though. I don't have any access to the weapons without their permission, and honestly they could be poisoning my food." She shrugged.
Felix pulled her into a hug.
"Okay.. that's all that matters. I'll be waiting for you." He grinned, burying his face down into her neck."I'll come back when I'm ready. They all hate me, don't they?" She asked sadly.
"Gabs does, and a lot of the others are pissed. Bang Chan hasn't stepped a foot out of his office, so who knows what he's doing." Felix shrugged sadly.
"Maybe it'll be awhile then." She chuckled sadly.
The bell rang as they pulled away from one another.
"Bye Lix." Kara said, waving off and walking away from him.
As she stopped watching, his smile dropped, as he turned around the corner."Why did you have to make me guilt trip her." Felix grumbled.
Lee Know just stood there."We need her back so Chan comes back to us. I know you're upset with her but you're her best friend other than Gabs, and there is no point asking her for help."
He scoffed."You know how I feel about her. I hate lying." Felix said, looking to the floor.
"Well, she's going to hate us if we can't pull her away soon enough. They have the file, remember?"
"Don't remind me. She's going to hate us so goddamn much."
