I suddenly realized that those foot-steps were not Mrs. Mayerson's... I look up only to see someone's eyes meet mine. I don't know why but my face turns tomatoe red. Well of course because it's awkward... I mean... A guy, who I have no idea whom he is, just caught me from falling on my face, and complimented me. What else would I do?
Thank him you idiot! I thought...
"I...I- I'm... I was just... I thought..." I say trying to play it cool. Instead I shut up and he realized I'm tomato red and gives me a hint of white teeth."I still haven't heard a thank you yet..." He says. I notice he's still holding me so I break my grasp from him and stand up.
"Oh right... Um... Thanks..." I say shyly.
I get on the floor and pick up my books and he starts helping me. "So, can I at least know you're name?" He asks, "Emma... My name is Emma..." I reply.
"Well Emma, could I hear the story behind your great big fall?" He says, I explain the whole situation about how I left my books here and that when I came back I tripped and then it lead up to this...
"I came back here to get my bag, you must've tripped over that... Sorry" he says. "It's fine... I'm pretty clumsy..." I say putting my book in my bag, "Definitely right on the "pretty" part..." He says cooly, of course, this brings my face to a bright red."So... You're next class is Science with Coleman, right?" He asks, I nod. "Well then, let's walk to class together..." He says moving his arms in the direction of the door. "But... I don't even know you! Or your name!" I say a little too loudly. "The name's Cole, Cole Smith." He says. "Okay, Cole. I guess we'll walk to class together." I say with a slight blush... I grabbed my bag and started walking towards him, but me being the clumsy me... I tripped on my own shoes a ran into him, we were in a hugging position because my arms instantly locked around him and he tried to catch me... We both heard a cough and we looked towards the door's direction. We saw all the 2nd period students for Mrs. Mayerson's class... Including...
