The bell, thank god, finally rang. My schedule get wet from "the incident" this morning, but I found out me and Hannah have the first 4 classes together, the other 4 classes I'll have to find myself.
Hannah had to get her science book from her locker (which was only 4 lockers down from mine). "Okay so... Our teacher is Mrs. Coleman, she is the best science teacher ever! She's funny and kinda quirky but it's cool... She has high expectations and is much more nicer than Mrs. Mayerson." She explains while putting her Language Arts book and journal back into her locker.
"Well then... I hope I don't get you detention in this class..." I said shyly, "oh don't be silly Emma, it was MY mouth that got me in trouble anyway..." She says as she slams her locker shut. "Okay. Do you have your book for science?" She says looking into my empty arms, "oh crap! I forgot my books in Mrs. Mayerson's room!" I say too loudly, "I'll go with you!" She suggests, "c'mon lets go!" She says starting to walk to to the 900 hall. "No. I can't get you into anymore trouble! Especially on the first day!" I say, "the first day of SECOND SEMESTER!" She says with anger. "No, go to class, I'll be there before the bell rings... Please..." I beg. "Okay... Fine. I'll try and save you a seat." She says glumly.
I head back to Mrs. Mayerson's room and realize she's not there... I go in on the empty room. There's 3 minutes before the bell rings so I try to be as quick as I can. I go to my desk and look underneath where you put your binders or books and see it's not there.
Oh great... I thought.
I look around and see she has a lost and found pile in the back of her room.
"Phew... There you are you science book!" I whisper-shout.
I hear foot-steps and I'm afraid that might be Mrs Mayerson. I grab my books and try to silently make my way out but I trip over some stupid bag and my books come flying out of my arms and I can tell I am about to land face first. But I didn't... Because then, someone caught me... "Well aren't you lucky? It's a good thing I caught you before that pretty face of yours fell to the ground..."
