Chapter 27

~ Jack ~

I woke up to my phone ringing.

I let out a frustrated groan as I slapped my hand around on my bedside table looking for my phone.

"What do you want?" I hissed into the phone, it's like 3 in the morning! Who in their right mind will call at this time?

"Jack?! It's Kamryn!" I hear Lexi's panicked voice say from the other end of the line.

"What, what is it?" I ask frustrated.

"She's gone" She answered; I let a frustrated yell before throwing my phone across the room.

Thankfully the cops let me go since they couldn't prove anything to keep me in.

What can I say; I'm good at covering my tracks.

I woke up with a smile on my face. We found Kamryn! I can't believe it!

I turn my head to look at her but my smile fades when I notice she's not there.

I hop up looking around the room for her, which shouldn't be this difficult it's a small room.

I hear a door creak open and in walks Kamryn holding a plate of bacon and eggs.

"Morning" She says cheerily pecking me on the cheek.

Where did she come from?

"The kitchen, this room has its own built in kitchen," She answers, wait did I say that out loud?

Oops.

"Don't tell me you didn't know there was a kitchen" She says in an amused tone.

"We were kind of busy, we didn't really take the chance to look around the room" I say, kind of harshly.

Her smile dropped and guilt instantly flooded my senses.

I ran over to her engulfing her in a hug.

"I'm sorry, it's just I was so worried that we wouldn't find you in time and now that I've got you I don't ever want to let you go" I say releasing my grip on her small body.

She peered up at my through her lashes smiling slightly.

"I'm never going to leave you again" She whispers before smashing her lips on mine.

I knew what she said had a double meaning even if she didn't tell me what it was.

I sat up rubbing my eyes, trying hopelessly to get my vision back.

Once I finally had I instantly wished I hadn't...

I let out a girl shriek and Kamryn and Shawn pulled away instantly.

Shawn gave me a deadly glare and I just smirked back at him Kamryn rolled her eyes before she pulled Shawn back in but not without sending me smirk.

"Okay, okay, please stop! My eyes are burning!" I yell shielding my eyes from the couple making out in front of me.

I heard a chuckle and slowly uncovered my eyes; thankfully Shawn wasn't trying to eat Kamryn's face off anymore.

I start to laugh quietly to myself.

I mean imagine that! Someone eating someone else's face off!!

Oh I crack myself up.

"What the hell are you laughing at?" Shawn asked an amused smile on his face.
