Chapter 7

~ Kamryn ~

The next morning I was first awake, which really didn't surprise me I mean aren't boys supposed to sleep for days?

Well I may be exaggerating but you get the point...

I chucked some bread in the toaster and sat on the bench with my phone waiting for the toast to pop up.

I jump off the bench to get my toast, when I feel strong arms wrap around me.

I turned around to see Jack, he was looking down at me with his signature smile, I smiled back leaning against the bench.

"Good morning" he said kissing my forehead.

"Morning" I say back trying to hide my blush.

He finally let go of me and I went back to making my toast.

"Um so I was wondering... if maybe... um" Jack stuttered Sounding nervous.

"Yeah?" I pressed.

"I was wondering if you would like to go out with me today?" He spat out fast, my face turned into a grin.

"I'd love to!" I yell, Jack jumped off the bench and engulfed me into a hug.

"What's going on" we hear Jack J say in a husky voice, we turned around to see all the boys standing there looking at us with the same expression... Confused.

"Uhm nothing?" I said more like a question then a statement.

"We're going on a date" Jack said confidently, I giggled.

I looked at the boys, they were all smiling... except Shawn, he looked almost depressed. I watched as he walked up stairs, all the boys had made their own conversation and probably wouldn't notice if I left.

I grabbed my toast and went upstairs, I walked into our room to see Shawn sitting on his bed gently strumming his guitar.

"What's wrong?" I asked when I had sat on the end of the bed.

"Nothing" he said not looking at me.

"Shawn, please?" I pleaded.

"It's nothing! You don't have to pretend that you care about me!" He yelled, I flinched back at the sound of his voice.

~ Shawn ~

I watched as Kamryn flinched back when I yelled at her, I felt so bad.

"Kamryn... I'm sorry" I said.

"No, you're right, I'm sorry" she said walking out.

What does she mean I'm right? Did she even care about me?

I let the tears begin to flow.

I grabbed my guitar and began to strum it to the tune of Hallelujah...

I walked down stairs thinking about what just happened.

Did I really just tell Shawn that I never cared?

I feel terrible but if I go back that will just show how weak I am.

I decided just to let him cool off and I'll speak to him later.
