Chapter 29

*1 Week Later*

~ Kamryn ~

Our vacation at the cabin has finally ended and I have to go back to the real world.

We were leaving in an hour and sadly Shawn has to go back to Canada, he said he'd call and text everyday and come back as soon as possible but it wasn't enough, I need him here... with me.

Finally the boys had finished packing and we all piled into the car.

No one would tell me what happened to Jack and Lexi but all I know is that they are facing a pretty long sentence.

Once we got back to Cam and Nash's house we started to say our goodbyes, and to be honest it was pretty emotional I probably won't see these guys in a while and I've just spent a whole month with them.

Once I had said goodbye to everyone individually the boys engulfed me in a group hug just like when they first met me.

"I'm going to miss you guys!" I say once they released me.

"We're going to miss you to!" Cam said the boys all nodded in agreement.

Cam walked Shawn and I to the car and helped us put our luggage in.

I lent in to give Cameron another hug when he started to speak.

"I can tell you make each other very happy, I haven't seen Shawn this happy in ages, thank you" He said into my ear.

We pulled apart and I nodded.

"I haven't been this happy in years," I say smiling and looking over to Shawn, who was oblivious to the whole situation. I heard Cam chuckle and I know he was thinking the same thing I was.

"See you later Kammy" Cam says turning to walk inside.

"Kammy?" I yell at his retreating figure.

"Yup! Got a problem?" He retorts without looking back, I chuckle and hop into the car, by now Shawn had already got off his phone and was waiting in the car.

"Did you have fun?" Shawn asked as we backed out of the driveway.

"I mean beside all that stuff and yeah..." he added.

"Yes, I did and I wouldn't have become friends with them if it wasn't for you so, thank you Shawn... for everything" I say turning to face him.

"Your welcome" He said before turning back to the road.

Shawn turned into my street and I let out a sigh. I'm home...

Shawn grabbed my luggage and helped me bring it inside.

"I have to go my flights in half an hour" Shawn said frowning.

I cradled his face in my hands and pressed a soft lingering kiss to his lips.

"I'll call and text everyday, promise" Shawn said before making his way to his car.

"You better" I said sending him a smirk. Shawn blew me a kiss before hopping into his car and driving off.

I decided to check my missed calls and messages before doing anything else.

Half of them were from Sidney so I decided to call her back straight away.

I dialled her number and half way through the first ring she picked up.

"He-" I start but am quickly cut off my Sidney yelling.

"OH MY GOD KAMRYN! ARE YOU OKAY?! I HEARD EVERYTHING! THE BOYS SAID THEY WOULD LET ME KNOW WHEN THEY FOUND YOU BUT NO ONE FREAKING LET ME KNOW!" Sidney screamed through the receiver, I pulled the phone away from ear cringing.

"Sidney... Sidney... SIDNEY!" I screamed, her rambling instantly stopped and everything was silent. I let out a sigh of relief before speaking.

"Sidney, I'm fine. The boys probably forgot to let you know, and I'm sorry I didn't call you my phones been flat, but I promise I am perfectly fine," I say all in one breath, I heard Sidney sigh.

"Thank goodness your okay, I don't know what I'd do without you," She says her voice cracking a bit.

"Sid, do you want to come over, so we can catch up?" I ask softly.

"You're home?!" Sid asked, excitedly. I nod before realising she can't see me.

Idiot.

"Yeah, I got home like 10 minutes ago" I answer.

"I'll be there in 2" is all I hear before the line goes dead.

I jog upstairs to start unpacking my stuff, my phone vibrates in my back pocket and I pull out to see what it was.

Shawn-

Bout to board. Will text you when I get to Canada, love you xx

I text back a quick reply before going back to unpacking.

The door to my room burst open and next thing I new my face was lying flat into a pillow and there was someone sitting on top of me.

I instantly knew who it was and mumbled a few profanities under my breath.

I finally got my head twisted so my voice would no longer be muffled

"Get your fat ass off of me!" I growl, I hear Sidney snicker before I felt the weight being lifted of.

I let out a groan as I stood up; I was instantly pulled into a giant hug. I started to feel my hair getting wet and pulled away from the hug; as soon as I did I felt my heart break. Sidney was quietly sobbing on my shoulder.

"Sidney? Come one," I cooed whilst she pulled away and we headed downstairs.

"I thought I had lost you Kamryn" Sidney whispered after we took our seats on the couch each with a tub of Ben and Jerry's Ice cream.

What? Ice cream could cure anything.

"But you didn't okay, I don't want you crying over me" I said sternly, Sidney just shook her head opening her mouth to speak.

"Look, let's stop talking about me when does Lachlan come back?" I ask with a smirk. A small smiled slid onto Sidney's face and she brushed the few remaining tears away to look up at me.
