Chapter 12: Arguments

Due to their recent night together, Kid was forced to wear a black turtleneck to hide his bloody hickeys and bites, which were noticeable kilometers away from him.

After a few hours of giving orders on the deck, Kid decided to take a shower. He entered the bathroom, took off his clothes and turned on the hot water. He kept thinking about a way to tell his crew about his relationship with Law, but even the most peaceful ones ended up in bloody scenarios in his head.

Water washed off all the sweat and other substances stuck to his skin as it dripped down his back and chest.

Kid began day dreaming about his lover again, until someone violently opened and slammed the bathroom's door.

Killer?? What the fuck are you doing in here? Can't you see I'm showering?

The red haired captain quickly grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his waist. From the look of it, Killer wasn't in a good mood.

I knew it, you damn liar.

Knew what??

Just look at those marks on your neck and your chest, don't bother telling me you and Trafalgar had another fight.

Kid didn't know what to answer anymore, he couldn't argue with his best friend, he was right.

Look- no need to be mad, alright? I was going to tell you, I just.. couldn't find the right moment to do so.

His answer didn't seem to satisfy the blond.

Right! It's not like you were too busy getting your ass fucked by this damn twink to find the moment, am I wrong?

I don't have anything against your relationship, I just feel fucking betrayed by you- we've been best friends for how long? Certainly longer than you and that dumb surgeon.

Do you really think you're so discrete, Kid? I can literally hear you every damn night! Why couldn't you just tell me? You've changed so much since you came back from the island. The only thing that matters now is that stupid doctor right?

What am I supposed to answer? I can't argue with the truth. I don't even feel like defending Law right now, I'm letting Killer show me what he really sees.

Killer, I can't even tell you myself why I like this guy. Since the island- since I truly got to know him- everything changed. It's like a brand new situation and it's driving me crazy. I can't control anything- I don't know anything about my feelings. How am I supposed to explain myself to you if I can't even understand my current relationship with La- Trafalgar?

Killer seemed to calm down, probably sensing I was being honest with him. He looked down and raised his hand in front of me.

Look, I don't want to hear about love and feelings. All I need to know is if all of this is sane for you. I wouldn't want you to.. you know.. become weak because of those emotions. So if it starts going downhill, I'll make sure you and your boyfriend get your asses kicked.

I smiled at my best friend and jokingly punched his shoulder.

By the way, you don't have to wait until everyone's asleep to spend time with Trafalgar. I think everyone in the crew doesn't really care, or are simply too scared to comment on it. It will let you get some sleep.

Alright, thanks, Killer.

He opened the door and left, leaving me alone in the bathroom. I was suddenly filled with a feeling of relief. After all, Killer was the only person in the whole crew that should know about my relationship with Law.

It seems like the mess happening in Kid's ship have calmed down. While I was reading the journal, shouting and insults could be heard from his boat, must've been Kid's usual morning greeting to his crew mates. Oh well.

Captain! We're approaching Marine Ford sooner than expected! Are you sure it's still a good idea to go there? What if.. WE DIE??

I sip on my coffee and stare at my crew mate.

Bepo, we won't die.

Sorry, captain...

Bepo is unbelievably anxious yet adorable. I mean, he's a polar bear who masters martial arts, there's nothing better than that.

As both crews were slowly approaching Marine Ford, it seemed like the tension that had built up the past days was gradually getting better. Killer had a hard time adjusting to the new changes, while Law's crew didn't know a single thing about the new couple, or just was too dumb to notice.

But what will happen when they reach Marine Ford?

N/a HELLOOO so I'm thinking the next chapter could be more funny than Ykyk,,, I might write a part where ..

..Ace actually gets saved and Luffy ends up in the submarine to get medical help from Law. Kid will also be there so it might be some type of moment where Luffy keep ruining the couple's private moments. :)
