It was early in the morning and a ray of light had crept in through the window and shone in Sora's face. He raised his hands in front of his face to cover the light. But it was too late he was already awake. He wasn't able to sleep very well dreading the day that was to come. Today was the day he was leaving Destiny Island and moving to Twilight Town.
His mother Aerith had died recently in a car accident a month ago so Sora was forced to go and live with his father Leon in Twilight Town. Sora didn't want to leave Destiny Island and he especially didn't want to his half brother Roxas. When Leon was married to Aerith he was also having an affair with a woman named Yuffie. Since Leon heard what had happened what had happened to Aerith he had came back to resolve some issues. In the end he had gained legal custody over Sora and he was being forced to move to Twilight Town.
Sora didn't really know his father at all. Before Sora was born his father had an affair with a woman named Yuffie. This resulted in his half brother Roxas who born the same day as Sora. When his mother found out about it she flipped out and wanted a divorce. Sora never really wanted to know about his dad because he felt that he loved his other family more. So Sora grew up without a dad. He hated his half brother Roxas. He blamed Roxas for the fact that he didn't have a dad. Now he was being forced to live with people he hated with every fiber of his being.
Sora didn't want to have to go to a new town and have to make new friends he already had two of the best friends in the world. He was going to miss Kairi and Riku. Kairi had washed up on the Island over ten years ago and was adopted by the mayor.
Kairi was sixteen the same age as Sora. She had long brown hair with a red tint that went down to her shoulders. She usually wears a pink strapless mini-dress made up of three zippers (two appear to be just decorative) as well as a white halter top underneath her mini-dress with a black hood. She also wears three bracelets on her left wrist, a black belt reminiscent of suspenders with a note book shaped bag attachment, and lilac sneakers.
His other friend Riku had been with Sora for as long as he could remember. Riku was the oldest kid on the island. He was seventeen. He had silver hair and usually wore a black zip-up tank-top and a white and yellow vest over it, his pants are a pair of baggy blue denim jeans held up by a black belt covered with square spike studs, and his feet down to a more normal size with a simple pair of sneakers.
For a while Sora thought that he was in love with Kairi but he slowly realized that the one he loved the most was Riku. Riku was always there for Sora no matter what happened. Even when it was the middle of the night and he was afraid and alone. Without a doubt in his hearts Riku was Sora's most important person in the world.
Sora wanted Riku right here now with him so that he could hold Sora in his arms but unfortunately Riku and his family had went on a vacation to Travelers Town in the middle of last month. Tears started to stream down his face as he thought about the events that had happened to him this past month.
"I don't want to go, I don't want to leave, I don't want to be alone!" wailed Sora as he collapse to his ankles. "I have to be strong," he told himself. Holding back the tears he went over to his closet and picked out the only pair off cloths left.
Sora pulled out a pair of baggy pants that were black until they got around the crouch where they turned dark blue. The pants had yellow straps crisscrossing around him connected to read bags that had black a big black x on each of them. Then he grabbed a blue shirt that had some red in the shape of a triangle around the bottom. He looked round and found his black and with hoddie that had yellow straps holding down silver shoulder pads. He reached in side of then and pulled out a pair of black gloves with white x and a yellow loop around the wrist.
Sora then put his cloths on while in a daze he couldn't believe that he had to leave his home. The place where he grew up. He was thinking about the new school he would have to go to, the new people that he would meet, and he was wondering how Riku was going to handle it.
He heard the door bell ring.
He snapped out of his dream like state and yelled," Coming!"
he left his room and went into the hallway. As he walked down the hall he noticed how empty it looked. The place where pictures had once bin hung was now bare.
He continued down the hallways and ran down the stairs. He went to the door and opened it to find nobody. He looked around to see if anybody was there. Then something on the ground caught his eyes it was a package.
He picked it up to get a better look at it he looked at the tag on it and read out loud," To Sora From Riku."He couldn't believe it. He walked back into the house and opened his package and a letter fell out of it.
He picked up and examined it. The date on it was last Friday June 10. He opened the letter and began to read it out loud.
Dear Sora how are you doing. I'm having a lot of fun it Travelers Town. There are a lot of shops here. I got a cell phone to my numbers 724-976-1331 I miss you a lot. While I was in town today I found a Shoppe with a lot of unique looking thing. So I decided to buy you an early birthday present. I'll see you on the 17th. Don't be too lonely without me k. Love Riku.
A tear rolled down Sora's face. "To bad Riku today's the 16th." He wiped the tear way. Then he heard the door bell again. He went and looked out of the window and saw that it was his was Leon. From the window Sora was examining what he looked like. He had long brown hair. Leon wears black gloves with belts on them, black, zipper-lined shoes, a silver necklace, and a white undershirt, and his short, black short-sleeved jacket.
He was also wears three brown belts on his left forearm and has three buckles on his right and left thigh, while he wore three black belts, black pants also sport a vertical zipper going down the side of each leg, two brown belts and two black ones around his hips, all of which are quite loose except for one, a black one worn properly around his waist. His eyes are blue and he bears his distinctive scar, which runs diagonally across the bridge of his nose.
Then Leon spotted Sora at the window and Sora was embarrassed. He rushed out of the living room and went towards the door and opened the door.
"Good", said Leon, "you're awake."
Sora just stared at him not knowing how to respond.
"Ok", continued Leon, "I'll be in the Gummy ship so get whatever it is that you need and I'll be waiting in the Ship. He then turned around and walked away back toward the Ship.
Sora thought to himself that was really uncomfortable. Then Sora remembered the package from Riku. He rushed back into to the living room and saw the package right where he put it. He took of the lid and in side was a silver chain with a silver crown on it. "Thank you Riku." He slipped the chain over his head and smiled to himself.
He heard a horn again and realized that Leon was waiting. He quickly put on his shoes and shoved Riku's letter n his pocket. He then rushed to the door. He took on last glace at the entrance to the house before shutting the door and locking it. He rushed across the lawn and entered the Gummy Ship. He got into the ship and Leon asked, "Are you ready?"
Sora took one last look at his house and then finally replied in a tired voice, "Yes."
"Ok then." said Leon as he started the engine for the Gummy ship.
As the ship took off leaving Destiny Island Sora was thinking off a lot of things. What kind of people would he meet, will he make any friends, and will he ever see Riku again. As all of these thoughts were swirling around in his head he started to drift away into a deep sleep.
