3rd POV:

The sun hung high in the sky, casting a gentle warmth on the small park near the heart of their city. It was a beautiful day, with a soft breeze rustling the leaves of the tall oak trees that lined the edge of the park. Birds were singing their cheerful melodies, creating a soothing backdrop to the scene.

Flex, with a slightly nervous but excited smile, stood near the entrance of the park. He wore a casual yet neatly pressed shirt and his favorite jeans that complemented the form he chose. His heart raced with anticipation as he waited for Roxie, butterflies dancing in his stomach. He looked around, taking in the tranquility of the surroundings. The park was mostly empty, allowing them to have some privacy for their date.

Meanwhile, Roxie was approaching the park from the other side, her steps confident but with a hint of curiosity. She had dressed in a comfortable yet stylish outfit; She wore a pretty floral mini dress with a pearly necklace around her neck and a colorful beaded bracelet on her wrist to match. Her hair was dressed up in a braid that rested on her shoulder.

Her excitement somewhat matched Flex's but she couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness. She never really knew much about Flex. They only shared one—or two kisses—together and went together to the dance. But now, they were going on a full-blown date. Their first one.

She only hoped it was a little better than what she had gone through with Levi.

As she entered the park, Roxie spotted Flex standing by a bench near a small pond. The pond was adorned with lily pads and colorful fish swimming lazily beneath the surface. Flex saw her and couldn't help but admire how she looked, feeling lucky to spend the day with her.

They exchanged warm smiles as they approached, the nervousness melting away in the face of their growing connection. The sound of laughter from children playing on the nearby swings added a joyful ambiance to the setting.

Flex gestured to the bench, inviting Roxie to sit. Upon getting a closer look at Flex, Roxie felt a sense of confusion about his new and unfamiliar form. He changed his looks to look like a nineteen-year-old boy with brown hair and small hairs on his chin that slightly resembled a growing beard.

She tilted her head in confusion. "Flex, I don't want to sound rude but...why do you look like this?"

Flex paused as he just stared at her. "What do you mean? Do you not like this form? I can always change if you like-"

Roxie quickly paused his panicked ranting. "No, no! It's fine. I just," She gently held his hands.

"I want to be on a date with the Flex I'm used to. It doesn't matter if people think you're weird, Flex. I like you the way you are—yellow blob and all."

His smile slowly became more distinct as he squeezed her hands. His body began to slowly shift back as his skin became the familiar yellow again and his smile became sharpie black and longer.

He 'opened' his eyes to gaze up at her, expecting some sort of weirded-out response or for her to immediately tell him to turn back but instead she only warmly smiled at him and squeezed his hands.
