This is my first TMR fic and my first character x reader fic, so please go easy on me. I absolutely love TMR and Newt is my boyfriend (sadly, just in my head) so I wanted to take a shot at it. I know this has been done loads of times already, but I wanted to give the trope my own twist.
This au follows the movie timeline but includes book canon, as well as my own changes and plot twists. There is lots of swearing, discussions of suicide and depression, and canonical violence. It'll be written in first person where I'll switch POV between the characters. As of now, I only plan on writing one fic that's centered around the first book. The responses I get from this story will determine if I move forward with sequels. So please let me know what you think!
