Naruto: Senju Resurrection

Chapter 34

Naruto and Jiraiya moved into a new town. They had travelled for a few hours that day. They weaved through the streets without any trouble. "How about we call it a day at one of these inns?" Jiraiya asks. "Eh... we just took a short day yesterday," Naruto complains. "Wouldn't it be nice to sleep in a bed for once? We should take these opportunities when they present themselves," Jiraiya scolds his student. "Okay, okay. Great master Jiraiya," Naruto says sarcastically. "Hey! That is the amount of respect I deserve, you know?!" Jiraiya attacks the tone in his voice. Naruto just waves off his annoyance and moves to find an inn.

They soon find one, and just as they are checking in comes a beautiful girl that winks and pulls her hair back for Jiraiya. Naruto, sensing where this is going, just holds out his hands and sighs. "Smart boy! I'll be back in a jiffy! Don't leave the room! Focus on poping that rubber ball!" Jiraiya says as he has hearts in his eyes and almost jumps into the girl's hands.

Naruto sits in his room. A rubber ball in his hands. He couldn't understand how much power you needed to explode the ball. He hears a knock on the door. "Did she already dump you? Talk about fast..." Naruto mutters to himself as he walks over to the door. The person at the door knocks again. "Yeah, yeah... I'm coming. Rela...x" Naruto says as he opens the door. It wasn't Jiraiya who was standing in his doorway. It was a shorter man with a big black cloak with red clouds. It had red accents. Naruto looks up toward the person's face and is shocked to see a mature Sharingan staring back down at him.

He looked remarkably similar to Sasuke. "Really... who'd believe a kid like you to have the Nine tailed fox in him." Another voice says as he walks past his partner. He was tall. Almost as tall as Jiraiya, if not taller. He had the same cloak and a sword strapped to his back. But what took Naruto's attention the most was his light blue skin tone. His hair was navy blue. 'Shit! right now?!' Naruto thinks as he jumps away from the door. He puts his hands in a snake seal 'Mokuton: Jukai Kōtan!' He screams in his head. Trees began sprouting around him. "Hoh... Mokuton... This is going to be fun!" The taller of the two says as he pulls his sword off his back. He pulls it out in front of himself and grabs onto the handle with both hands. The trees begin to charge toward the intruders. The black-haired man easily evades the incoming trees while the other swings his sword wildly to cut himself out of the interweaving trees. Naruto's trees didn't stop just because he missed his targets but crashed into the wall on the other side of the corridor and out to the streets. He heard shocked screams coming from outside. 'Good that should alert Jiraiya!' Naruto thinks. "This doesn't have to be violent. Just come with us. Naruto-kun," The black-haired man says in a monotone voice.

"A little late for that, don't you think?" Naruto counters as he takes the small hole between the two that had opened while dodging his trees. Then, he runs down to the end of the corridor. A new figure appears in the hall. He was about as tall as Naruto. "What are you doing here, Sasuke?" Naruto asks in disbelief. Although, he only seemed to have eyes for the black-haired man. "Itachi!" He screams. "It has been a long time... Sasuke," The man says to him. "Uchiha Itachi! I will kill you!" Sasuke says, hate evident in his voice. "It is just as you said. I held a grudge against you and hated you. For the singular purpose of killing you!" Sasuke screams. He powers a Chidori in his left hand and runs toward his brother. The wall cracks under the power of the Chidori. "Die!" He screams as the trademarked chirping of the Chidori intensifies. Itachi catches his hand with ease. "You are in the way," Itachi says as he breaks Sasuke's wrist. Sasuke lets out a pained roar. Itachi throws him to the wall.

Naruto weaves through the hand signs with practised ease. "Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" Naruto screams out as he slams his hand down on the ground. A small orange toad appeared in a poof of smoke. "Gamakichi here!" He says as he materialises. "I need you to find Jiraiya! I'm in a bit of a pickle!" Naruto orders the frog. "Right on! But you will owe me snacks after this is done!" Gamakichi says as he disappears in another poof of smoke.
