Chapter 4 ) Find My Child

Josh's Pov

Its 8 o'clock and Angel still isn't back . Usually Angel would have been home putting Brayden to sleep around this time . So I picked up my phone to call her , only to get no answer . Now I was worried . There was only more more person I could rely on to have answers about my wife and that was Abrianna . I called her

" Abrianna , do you know where Angel is ? I havent seen her since I left the hospital and she hasn't called " I explained

" Yeah I seen her alright " Abrianna sighed

" Oh great . Where is she ? " I asked with a smile

" She's crying in the hall way if the hospital at the moment " She answered

" What happened ?! What's going on ?! Is she hurt ?! " I asked all at once

" No she's fine " Abrianna said

" Then what's wrong ? " I asked

" Khalil is dead " She muttered

" What ? I can't hear you " I asked

" KHALIL IS DEAD . GONE . DECEASED . CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW ?! " She yelled

I sat there in silence , trying to process everything I just heard . My wife's best friend is dead . And its all my fault . Everything around me is just beginning to swirl around in the whirlpool of hell . My daughter is missing along with her newborn cousin , my wife's bestfriend is dead , and now I am fearing what is gonna happen next . I know what I have to do . I'm gonna get my daughter and Sarina and make it up to Khalil .

I hung up the phone with her and began to pack my things . I knew I was gonna be gone for awhile . After I was done packing , I went into Brayden's room and began packing things for him . I wasn't taking him with me but I couldn't leave him here with his mom in this time of grief . It didn't take me too long to finish pack his things because we always keep a couple of bags packed for him anyways . I walked over to his crib and carefully picked him up . I placed a kiss on his head then put him in his seat . I began to pack all are things into the car . Once everything was packed , I got in the car and began driving . I was taking Brayden to my agents house . He was the only person besides my mother I trusted with my son .

30 minutes later

I rang the door bell . I stood there on the porch patiently waiting . Soon the door opened

" Mr.Hutcherson , I would never have expected you to come at this time of day . Not to be rude but what are you doing here ? " My agent asked

" Can we talk about this inside please ? " I asked

" Sure , I'll put on some tea . " He smiled

I walked in with Brayden in arms . He quickly closed and locked the door before joining me and brayden in the kitchen .

" Do you have anywhere I can put him to sleep ? I kinda woke him to come here " I asked

" Second floor to your right " He answered

I carefully walked up the stairs until I reached the room . It was weird because this was a nursey . But from what I knew , he didnt have any kids . I shruggged it off and placed him the crib . I quietly snuck out and closed the door before going back downstairs and into the kitchen .

" Thanks " I said

" No problem " He said with a smile

" So please due tell me what is going on with you " He asked

" My family and I are in deep trouble , My wife is in the hospital and my daughter has been kidnapped . I need to go out and look for her but I have no one else to watch my son . So i was kinda asking you if you can please take care of Brayden just for while " I explained

" I honestly don't know if I can Mr.Hutcherson . I mean ... " he began

" I'll give you a raise . $25 , 000 . " I said

He made a face as if he was thinking . At this moment , I didn't care what he was thinking . As long as it helped me .

" You know I could help you out " He said

" Oh my goodness . Thank you so much . I promise you , you wont regret this . " I said as I gave him a smile

" Anything for my best employer " He said said

I waved goodbye and walked out .

Now it was time to go find my daughter .
