Chapter 19 ) The AfterMath

Angel's Pov

" Jenn ! " Josh screamed as he rushed from the table .

He ran to the stage and pulled Jenn's lifeless body into his arms. I ran after him .

" Jenn ! Jenn ! What were you thinking ?! " He cried

" Someone call 911 ! " I shouted at the audience

I returned my attention back to Josh .

" Josh , you have to let her go " I said to him

He continued to cry and rock her back and forth in his arms .

I wrapped my arms around his and tried to pull him away but he wouldn't budge .

" Zac , help me ! " I called

He came to my aid right away .

" Josh we have to go buddy . Let's go " Zac said as he grabbed his other arm .

Jenn's body laid flat on the stage as we walked Josh out of the garden . All our clothes were soaked with blood . The ambulance arrived and I pointed them in the right direction. Zac helped Josh into his car while I rushed to find the medics .

I found them on the stage. They were trying to bring Jenn to life .

" Clear ! " A medic shouted

Jenn's body flopped but there was no response

" Again Clear ! " He shouted again

The same thing happened

The medic looked at me and shook his head . At that point I knew Jenn was truly dead . I held my hand up to my mouth . I felt as if I was about to get sick . I rushed to the bathroom and emptied my stomach into a toilet. I was so horrified by the sight I had seen tonight . And I knew I was not the only one.

I washed out my mouth and washed my hands before exiting. I was about to go look for Josh and Zac but a man stopped me

" Are you Angel Hutcherson ? " He asked

" Yes I am " I said

" My name is Detective Cage and I just have a few questions for you " He explained

" Alright " I agreed

" Now witnesses say your husband Josh Hutcherson is her ex husband . Is that correct ? " He asked

" Yes it is . They got divorced about 4 years ago " I replied

" And do you know anything about their marriage ? " He asked

" Jenn cheated on him so he divorced her " I answered

" Now most witnesses said she shot herself in the head . Did you witness this as well ? He asked

" I did " I assured

" Thank you for your cooperation . I need for you to follow us to identify the body . " He said

I nodded . Just like that ,he walked away . I walked back toward the car to see Zac on the phone . He quickly hung up

" I need to follow the police to identify Jenn's body . Will you please stop by brothers house and pick up my kids ? " I asked

" Alright . I'll take Josh with me " He said as he gave me a hug .

" Thank you so much " I whispered

" No problem . I'll wait for you at your house " He said as he got into the car .

I got into my own car and follow the police . We drove about twenty minutes before pulling up to the pressing .
