Chapter 15 ) You Lied To Me

Josh's Pov

I did not go home last night . I just couldn't believe that Angel , my wife , didn't believe the baby I love isn't my child . Instead I rented a hotel room for just Giselle and I . My family means the world to me so not having that stability right now is honestly eating me alive.

I woke up this morning and rolled over to look at Giselle . She was still peacefully sleeping . I carefully got out of bed and walked to the restroom . I washed my face and brushed my teeth . After my hygiene was finished , I walked out the bathroom to check on Giselle . Lucky for me , she was still sleeping . I picked up our things to get ready for check out . Then that's when I heard the crying . I carefully picked her up and gave her a kiss on the forehead . She giggled and stopped crying . I put her in a fresh diaper then changed her clothes . I changed her into a pink dress with white dollbaby socks and her silver shoes .

I put Giselle inside her car seat and went down to the lobby of the hotel . After I checked out , I went to my car and strapped her in . There was no need to tell anyone what I was about to do . I was about to go get a Dna test . But I didn't wanna be alone during this process . So I called someone I knew I could trust . I decided to call Zac . He's a father so he'll understand what I'm going through . He gladly said he would come with with me .

I grabbed her diaper bag and had my assistant check me out while Giselle and I made our way to the car . He pulled off and I gave the directions to the driver . We were at Evelynn's and Zac's house within the hour . I asked the drive to let Giselle quietly sleep while I got out to get Zac . He nodded his head in agreement . I walked to the porch and knocked on the door . Evelynn answered with Sarina in her arms .

" Hey Josh ." She said

I grabbed Sarina from her arms and attacked her face with kisses . She laughed so hard . I waited until she was calm to respond to Evelynn

" Hey Ev " I said

" How are you doing ? " She asked

" You know I've been better ? " I said truthfully

" So it is true ? Do you doubt it too ? " She asked

I gave Sarina another kiss before handing her back to Evelynn .

" I have no doubt in my mind that Giselle is my daughter . She has my eyes and my hair . There's no way this isn't my daughter " I explained

Evelynn leaned in and gave me a hug . I returned her back .

" I'm glad you believe " She said with a smile .

" Alright are you read to go JLo ? " Zac asked as he came out onto the porch

I laughed

" Yeah come on dude " I said

Zac gave Evelynn and Sarina a kiss before following me to the car . We got in and locked the door . We were now on our way to get a Dna test . These results will change my life forever .

" You nervous ? " He asked

" Of course I'm nervous . This little girl means so much to me . " I said as I picked up Giselle

" We just have to stay calm . I know Jenn has done some foul things to your family but I don't believe she would take it this far . " Zac said as he looked at Giselle

" I really hope not " I said with a seriousness

" Not to jinx anything but lets say these results come out negative and Giselle isn't yours? What are you gonna do ? " Zac asked as he looked me dead in my face
