Chapter 20 ) When The Family Meets

Angel's Pov

Today was Jenn's funeral . Apart of me felt like it wasn't my place to go but Josh insisted I did . I got dressed in a gray dress with some white wedges . I helped Josh get Priscilla ready to go to his mother's house for the time being.

" Mommy , why is Daddy so sad ? " She asked

" He's sad because Ms.Jenn had to go away for a really long time " I said as I brushed her hair

" Where is she going ? " Cill asked

" She's going to a place called heaven " I said

" Why she is going there ? She doesn't wanna see us anymore ? " She asked

I turned her around as I bent down to her level .

" No she does. Its just that she was angry and needed some time away " I explained to her

She hugged me and I returned her hug

" Well I hope she isn't angry in heaven " She whispered

I kissed her head before grabbing her hand to walk out the bathroom . We met Josh and Brayden at the stairway.

" You look beautiful . Both of you" He said as He gave Cill a kiss

" Thank you Daddy . You look like a king ! " She said cheerfully

" Only for you Princess " He said

" Look at my handsome son " I cooed as I took Brayden from Josh

Brayden giggled as we made our way down the steps

We quickly packed the kids into the car and stared the drive to Mishelle's house .

" Mishelle , its so nice seeing you again " I said as I hugged her

" My gosh Angel , you are more dashingly beautiful everytime I see you " She cooed as she returned the hug

" But not like you . You don't look a day over 25 . " I complimented

" You have definitely chosen the perfect girl to be your wife Josh " Mishelle said

Josh hugged me from behind and wrapped his arms around my waist . I smiled at his small gesture

" I know Mom . I'm happy with her " He said

" You guys are simply adorable " Mishelle said

" I'm having dinner tonight at 6 with my brother and his family and I would love if you would join us " I explained

" Thank you so much Angel . I will gladly be there " She smiled

" Alright ,get along before you are late . I got the kids " She said as she walked us toward the door

" Thanks Mom . See you tonight " Josh said

" Bye Mishelle . Bye kids . Mommy loves you ! " I said before leaving the house

We got into the car and began the trip to the funeral home .

" Today we are here to say our farewells and goodbyes to a most talented actress , mother , and great person . Jennifer will forever be missed . I will now proceed with a few words from fellow actress Willow Sheilds " The father said

Willow took her place at the stand . Her eyes were bloodshot red. She took a deep breath then look out to the audience

" Jenn was not only my sister in the series of the Hunger Games but she was my sister in actual reality . She cried when I cried . She laughed when I laughed . I have never worked with a better actress than Jennifer Lawrence . And Today I hold here her Grammy award she was suppose to receive on the 25th of this month . I know you guys see her as this evil person but I know she was better than that. Jenn I love you and I pray you are at peace . Thank you so much for listening . " She said
