After Venus's funeral , I realized that anything can happen . So I took many precautions . I took Priscilla , Brayden , and Giselle out of public schooling and daycare . I have a teacher that comes in and teaches Priscilla three days a week . Along with our live in nanny that helps us out . I just want to make sure that everything will be alright .
Angel has been really busy lately with her modeling career so we rarely have anytime for each other . But today was different . Neither I or her have any plans . For once , we were at a stand still .
I rolled over and wrapped my arms around her . She pressed her body against mine . I laid a kiss on her cheek .
" Good Morning " I said
" Morning " She replied
" How did you sleep ? " I asked
" I slept great and you ? " She asked
" I slept just fine " I answered
I was about to reply but there was a cry that interrupted . Just by the sound , I knew it was Giselle .
" That's Giselle . I'll get her " I said as I unraveled my arms from Angel
" And I'll take the kids downstairs and begin cooking breakfast . " She said
We both got out the bed and made it before going our separate ways to get the kids . I walked in to Giselle's room and seen her standing up in her crib . Her dark brown hair covering most of her face . I walked over to her crib and picked her up . She instantly stopped crying . I gave her a peck on the cheek before walking out of her room and heading downstairs . I seen Priscilla and Brayden playing in the living room . I set Elle down and she crawled over to Brayden . He was very happy to see her . Cill wasn't that much older than them so they played together greatly .
I walked into the kitchen and seen Angel cooking eggs and Abrianna making waffles .
" Good morning ladies " I said
" Hey Josh " Abrianna replied
" You know you can take the day off if you want to Abrianna " Angel said
" Really ? " Abrianna asked
" Sure , we got the kids . " I assured
" Well then great , I'll head out right after breakfast " She answered with a laugh
I helped with breakfast than set the table . Abrianna and Angel put Brayden and Elle in their highchairs while I helped Cill wash her hands . We all thanked Angel for breakfast than began to eat .
After breakfast , as promised , Abrianna left . Leaving Angel and I alone with the kids . We decided that we would take the kids for Disneyland for the day .
" I have to go get the kids something to wear " Angel said excitedly
" Babe , trust me , they have plenty to wear . " I said
" Please Josh ? " She pleaded
" Alright , be back soon so we can leave . " I answered
Angel kissed my forehead before slipping on her pink Uggs . She grabbed her car keys then left . The kids and I started a Disney character puzzle . That was actually a bad idea because Brayden was eating most of the pieces . We eventually stopped trying with the puzzle and put it away .
I looked at my watch and I realized it has been two hours since Angel left . It usually doesn't take her that long . I gave her a call but she didn't answer her phone . I didn't pay it too much attention to it because when Angel shops , she doesn't pay attention to pretty much anything around her .
But two hours turned into three hours . Three hours turned to five . I was now beginning to worry now . I called her again and again and there still was no answer . I have a gut feeling that is something is wrong . I called the police
" This is Officer Mckale . What can I help you with " He answered
" My name is Josh Hutcherson and I want to report a missing person . " I explained
" Okay who are you reporting missing ? " He asked
" My wife . Her name is Angel Hutcherson " I said
" And why do you say she is missing ? " She asked
" She went to the store to pick up something for our children and she never came back " I replied
" Okay and what does she look like ? " He asked
" Well she is about 5'9 with dark brown hair with golden highlight . She is wearing a pink Nike jogging suit with pink uggs and a rosegold wedding ring and a golden band on her wrist . " I described
" Okay Mr.Hutcherson, I will give her description to the paroling officers and will give you call if I hear anything . " He said
" So what am I supposed to do ? " I asked
" Well wait for her call . If she doesn't return to your residence by tomorrow morning , then we will begin a investigation . " He explained
" Thank you so much officer Mckale . " I said
" No problem Mr.Hutcherson " He replied
I hung up and called Evelynn . I asked her has she seen or heard from Angel and she said no . The same answer when I called Colton .
I was thinking of where she could be when Brayden began to tug on my pants leg . I picked him up
" Mama " He babbled
" No , say Dada " I said
He shook his head " No "
" Mama " He said
" I know . She'll be back soon . Real soon . " I said as I held him close to me .
