"How about use the book again."

"No."

"Sweetie I find it really great you want to keep learning. But it even took me years without the book to open the portal."

"How long it take you Puppet?"

"I don't remember. Before I woke up? Maybe even after?"

Octavia stared at him and then look at her father.

"They are different and weird."

"Yes, I am."

The teenager groans and lift her hand up, again, to try and open a portal back home. It was harder than it looks. Sure, her and her father been working together with the book. A nice father, daughter moment. Even when she take the book for herself. But she like it.

Her father was such a doofus. When he clap so excitedly for her when she open a portal to space. But he her doofus father.

Doofus father she still somewhat angry at.

Yes, she found out her father and Blitz, kind of, seeing each other again. Thought without the book that would be over with. But it wasn't meant to be as she went to IMP a few rare times. Sure, less sexual remarks around her but could just tell it was happening. Got to meet the other members as well again. Along with a new one. 

Yet, it didn't matter as her father and mother at this point decided if best to live separately. For the time being.

She hates staying at the other home with her mother.

Did she pity her for what happen at the beginning when father cheating? A big yes. Along with regret shouting out to Puppet to what happen. She too was hurt and confused why this was happening. Till, she slowly realize how the fighting seems to be mostly about the cheating being with an imp. To worry about status and who they are. Never the relationship.

It made Octavia really looked back at past memories.

Felt, like an idiot at times even if there were good, real moments as a family together. Then others situation she began to notice. Made her cringe a bit about Stella behavior. It was actually always her and father.

Now trying to find ways to distract herself by learning magic, space, and just her family magic in general.

While she knows her father been proud the past few month of her studies.

Her mother seem please she learning. But still wont shut up and remark a lot of things about the damn status. Her Uncle was excited how interested she was getting into it. Along with helping out with any teaching. Andrealphus does have power with astronomy like Stolas. But a few key differences. Like he doesn't have the book unlike her father.   Which he points out a lot and make off comments about bringing it over. The two can study.

Or for him to keep.

Plus, she prefer her father teaching her. Really feels like extra 'lessons' with her mother what to do as a noble. Said to start kicking it up and be serious with duties. Next, to her father she prefer Puppet teaching her as well.
