The flight to Jeju was at least an hour or so, she may be a famous lawyer and Jisoo might be the CEO of a well known corporation but she can still move in public spaces with ease - not everyone watches the news. All she got were a few side eyes and sympathetic looks from strangers who recognized her from when her face was all over the news a week ago as the long time girlfriend
She brushes off the looks and head to Cafe, her table was on the hidden part of the establishment, already seated is the same guy from 3 days ago and Chaeyoung suddenly feels underdressed because now the guy is not wearing his 'hobo' like clothes instead the guy is wearing a three piece black Channel suit, Chopard Glasses and a cup of espresso on the table
"Attorney Park" the guy greets
She looks at the calling card on her hand, "Mr. Kwon Ji-yong - angel of death?"
"The most busy job ever"
Chaeyoung gives him an unimpressed look, "Sure" and the guy just smirks
"I'm gonna go straight off the topic - do you have any information about the death of Jisoo Kim"
"You mean you're wi--"
"Are you a witness?" she cuts him off
An amuse smile is playing on his lips, "I have information and I'm a witness"
"Great - can you identify who was driving the car? and can you write a sworn statement about what you witnessed?"
"I'm afraid I can't"
Chaeyoung faltered for a moment, "Why?"
"I'm not here to stand as a witness or give information - I'm here to make a deal"
As a lawyer Chaeyoung needs to have a very long patience and understanding so she takes a deep breath, "What do you mean?"
"I'm here to make a deal - I'll bring your Jisoo back -"
"Are you fucking kidding me?" Chaeyoung never curses - but she does if some guy thinks he can play with her
"Can you listen to me first? Didn't it say in the card angel of death?"
"Listen to me Hobo - I will not hesitate to destroy your life if you ever cross me again" Chaeyoung makes a move to stand up, she can't believe she waited her day with this
