Being a successful woman in a male dominated career has it's ups and downs - ups because everyone doesn't think you are a threat until you run them over and downs because there will always be double standards for you
Sana Minatozaki and Jisoo Kim have a lot in common and one of those things are making grown ass men weep as they careen through their careers, truth be told Chaeyoung had no grounds on suspecting Sana because she's still one of the most successful business owners in Japan despite Jisoo establishing a branch of her own company there
But then again better as safe than sorry - the only problem is that Sana is based on Japan and they're in Korea and She can't think of an excuse to tell Jisoo on why she's suddenly going to Japan and it's not like she can just send Lisa alone
"I can go alone" Lisa says when they meet in the same coffee shop
"I just told you she's basically japanese Jisoo, what makes you think she'll even agree to meet with you"
"I can be very persuasive when I need to" Lisa smirks
"First of all Ew, second of all we need to remain lowkey if she goes to Jisoo about this I'm dead"
"I'm confused as to why you can't just tell her about this"
Chaeyoung wonders about that too but the conversation of her saying she went back 14 days to the past doesn't quite end well in her head, "It's better like this"
"Well, you need to find away to escape to Japan"
"Hold on, I'm trying to think"
"Can you like go on a vacation or something?"
"Without Jisoo? are you crazy?"
"Then bring her"
"With Jisoo? Are you crazy?"
"Okay - I'm done. Call me when you figure it out"
Chaeyoung groans and decide to Jisoo's office, she always thinks better when she's with Jisoo.
"This is a nice surprise, what are you doing here?" Jisoo asks as she enters her office
"Turns out taking a week off work gives me a lot of time to annoy you" she grins and dips her head to kiss Jisoo who was still seated on her office chair
"I thought you were working on a case?"
"I am, but its more of a personal case"
Jisoo looks up from her computer in surprise suddenly remembering what her future in brother in law said about Chaeyoung handling a case, "oh?"
"Yeah, but don't worry about it - I wanna help what do you got for me CEO"
"Roleplay? Hmm"
The lawyer scoffs, "No, weirdo. I really just wanna help"
Jisoo just laughs and riffles through her desk to see if she has anything that needed help with when she remembers, "Oh, I can use your organizing skills. Taehyung needs help in organizing the fundraiser for thursday"
There's an imaginary lightbulb that lights up above Chaeyoung's head, She remembers that fundraiser, it happened in the original timeline as well and it was held in Tuscany, Italy since Taehyung couldn't find a venue in Seoul and she working on some case so she couldn't help him
"Thursday is like two days from now - isn't it a little too late to plan that" she says in whisper like voice like when she's lying
The CEO narrowed her eyes at her fiance, "Uh-huh, are you gonna help or are you gonna make Taehyung suffer first?"
