As evidence against Taehyung starts piling up and Chaeyoung's relationship with Jisoo hang in the balance of her capturing the right suspect. Jimin Park is meeting with a man covered in a ski mask
"If you have the guts to hire a hitman at least have the guts to show your face" Jimin says
"No, thanks" The guy says - he can't place where he heard that voice but Jimin is sure he heard it somewhere
"Okay, fine - this is how my business is conducted. You give me a name and a generous amount of money and I will give you a proof, but we don't cut heads anymore"
He notices the guy falter for a moment when he mentioned the no cutting head rule - so he's new client is either a newbie or has a soft spot for whoever he wants dead
"I'm not here for a hit - I'm here for information. I was told you give out very useful info's"
Jimin chuckles, "For the right price - 300 dollars"
The guy nods and hands him a piece of paper with an address - "Give me everything you have on Jeon Jungkook. Everything. The payment will follow"

Jennie and Lisa are now back in the detective's apartment after staying the whole night out of the Kim's mansion, "Are we gonna tell Chaeyoung about the car?" Jennie asks as she takes a sip of the coffee Lisa gives her
"She's not in a good emotional state right now - so...maybe we should keep it for ourselves while we work some things out" Lisa suggests and the reporter nods her head in agreement
"In that case - I'll go and dig what we have on that car"
"How?" Lisa asks, "There's no plate although the windows were not as tinted as much"
Jennie looks at her weirdly, "There was a plate in the car that I saw Taehyung get in - and it was heavily tinted"
The detective's shoulders sags, "Does that mean we got the wrong car?"
"I don't know but don't you think it's too much of a coincidence?"
"I'm gonna go and talk to Chaeyoung and you do your thing - let's regroup here around 8?"
"Sure - oh, wait I don't have a key"
Lisa wanted to say she doesn't need a key because she'll be home but instead she reaches for her spare key in the cupboard and hands it to grinning Jennie.

"Try to remember what happened like before Jisoo was in the accident - since you did some things differently it might have affected some events but some might still be the way it is" Lisa was desperate for any more clues - it's the detective in her that wants every possible angle covered before she starts pointing fingers
Chaeyoung looked liked shit - and that was an understatement. The lawyer looked like she got no sleep and haven't eaten in a while, "I can't think straight - I'm sorry"
Lisa holds back a sigh, "Maybe you should take a break from all this stuff - maybe have a vacation with Jisoo?"
"I don't even know if she wants to be around me right now - I might save her from dying but I don't think our relationship can survive this"
"She's just worried and hurt. She knows you have a secret and she can't figure what is it and the mind can be your worse enemy especially when it comes to jumping conclusions"
The lawyer just buried her face on her hands and groaned
"Get in the car" Lisa says after a while
"What?" Chaeyoung looks up and sees Lisa standing up and motioning outside the coffee shop they were in. "Why?"
"I'll handle the investigation, trust me you need this"
And so Chaeyoung gets in the car - she barely had time to process that she's on the way to visit the Kim's mansion , "Lisa!" She hissed when the detective parks the car right in front the huge gate
"You need this" Lisa reminds her as they step out and was greeted by some burly guy
"I have a delivery for Ms. Jisoo Kim" Lisa says although she knows Chaeyoung can pretty much walk in if she wanted too but she knows the lawyer won't given that she doesn't want to be here in the first place
Moments later Jisoo walks out wearing something that screams money and sophistication. "What happened?" She asks Lisa, her eyes swimming in worry and hurt
"Nothing" Lisa assures her, "But something might if she keeps on acting like she's dead" she adds which earned a punch on the arm
Jisoo looks like she has no idea what to do, "My professional advice is that you two should take a vacation somewhere" Lisa says seriously and Jisoo squared her shoulders
"So you're a couple's councilor now?"
Lisa tilts her head, "No - as part I was referring to part where someone is threatening your fiancé"
The CEO looked like she swallowed her tongue, "Right - uh...Chaeyoung?" Jisoo silently asks for her to come in, "Do you wanna come in too?" She asks Lisa
Lisa respectfully declines wanting to get away from the awkward atmosphere.

Jisoo scratches the back of her neck as Chaeyoung sits down on her bed, she feels transported back to when they were first dating, the shy glances, the awkward atmosphere.
"So...uh - do you have a place in mind?" she asks the lawyer who was even more thinner than she remembered - she was gone for a day and this is what happens.
Chaeyoung just sat there, looking at her with those bright eyes. Never in her life she saw her fiancé unsure and right now that's all she's seeing so Jisoo kneels down in front of her.
"Hey" She calls softly, "I love you"
Jisoo felt something shift - she doesn't know what exactly but the fire in Chaeyoung's eyes have never been more brighter.
"I actually have a place in mind"

Lisa comes home to her apartment sometime over 7:30 to prepare for dinner - around 5 minutes Jennie comes in with a pack of beer, the reporter looks uncharacteristically worried and she soon finds out why.
"So the car is registered to Jungkook" Jennie says as they eat dinner
"and? I feel like there's an and"
"There is - the car was given by Taehyung as a gift long ago"
"So...how convinced are we that Taehyung is going to kill Jisoo or killed her"
"Or Jungkook - I mean Jisoo wasn't exactly welcoming to him even before he cheated and I'm betting that Jisoo didn't like it when Taehyung and Jungkook are seeing each other again"
"Okay...so now Jungkook is our suspect?"
"He pretty much check all the boxes" Jennie shrugs but they don't look too convinced
"And Chanyeol is out of the picture?"
Jennie rolls her eyes, "No - he's still very much in the picture"
"Why? we don't have anything against him at all"
"Call it detective's instinct and trust me once you meet the guy you'd just feel the antagonist vibes off him"
Lisa gives her an unimpressed look, "I'm the detective and I feel nothing"
