4. Duel Of Old Friends Pt. 2

As Izuku grabbed Suki and pulled her to the ground to get out of the way from Bakugou's blast, he could feel the heat on his back. He could tell that Suki was heavily disoriented, so he made sure to lay her down carefully. Once setting her down, he stood up to see Bakugou standing within the cloud of Dust and smoke.

"Young Bakugou, if you do that again, your team is Disqualified."

"Whatever" Bakugou said as his other gauntlet blinked red. He was tempted to use it. But he wasn't going to lose the match because of him. Izuku took up another wide stance, ready to fight. "Tch, do you really think some fancy moves is going to beat me?" Bakugo asked. Izuku just stayed quiet, staring at him.

The moment Bakugou took a single step, Izuku extended his right arm, pointing two fingers at Bakugou, sending a fireball at Bakugou. He knew it wasn't going to do anything to him. He just needed to keep him busy.

As much as he wanted to beat him and show him that he isn't weak, now isn't the time. Their fight will come soon.

"Tch" Bakugou just slid to the side to dodge the fire bolt. "Really? Did you really think you'd win with that?"

"No" izuku answered. Bakugou was confused until he looked behind Izuku to see that Suki was gone. Bakugou gritted his teeth and sent himself flying at Izuku, going at him with his signature right hook with and explosive surprised.

Izuku grabbed his arm and sent Bakugou ove his shoulder, slamming Bakugou's back into the ground.

"You're too easy to read, Bakugou" Izuku spoke catching Bakugou slightly off gaurd by calling him by his actual name. Bakugou quickly got back up to his feet with explosion going off in his Palms. Izuku stood there, waiting for Bakugou's next move.

Before either of them could make a move, an alarm went off, signifying it was the end of the match.

"The heroes win. Suki has retrieved the bomb" All Might announced. Izuku just let out a small smirk before walking off. Bakugou stood there fuming with smoke basically coming out of his ears.

Suki had already made her way to the observation Room with Zuko. Everyone was currently congratulating her for winning the match. Her focused was moved from the class to a door open. Izuku walked through it. As he walked in, she excused herself from her group to go to Izuku.

"OH, good job out there" Izuku said beating Suki to the compliment. Him speaking caught her and everyone who heard off gaurd. Izuku just looked back and forth between the group before shrugging and taking a step to the side.

"Thats literally the most he's spoke" Sokka said still in shock.

"Guys it's literally only the first week of school. Some people prefer to wait and get used to their class" Momo said as Bakugou walked through the door still angry.

"Great Job you guys. Especially to you Suki." All Might said giving her a thumbs up. "So, who here can tell me who the MVP was" most answers were either for Bakugou, Izuku, or Suki. "It neither of them" the class looked confused.

"Really? It was Zuko" Momo spoke up.

"That is correct. Can you tell us why?" All Might asked.

"Its because while his teammate left him alone, he made best of his situation by making sure there was nothing to hide behind in the room, he also never left the the bomb, and he caused the least amount of damage to the building." Momo explained. As she did, Zuko gave the class an awkward smile.

Izuku stood in the back of the group with his arms crossed. As he stood back there, Suki caught his eye. He thought she would've just been a pain in his ass and be in his way. But instead she proved him wrong and won the match for them. Normally he would prefer to work alone, He would most likely end up working with her again in the future.
