7. The Center

Izuku Was sprinting fast as he could towards the center of the USJ. He didn't know exactly why he was running towards the center. But one glance at the giant bird looking villain, he knew it was bad news. So he wanted to help as much as possible.

On his way to the center he just had to pass Sokka of all people. Even though he had an ill taste for him already. He could tell he was holding up in a fight by himself. Using a boomerang of all things.

"Mind giving me a little help?" Sokka called out to Izuku. He hesitated to jump in to help. But eventually jumped into action by sending a few waves of flames and fire bolt at any villains nearby. It didn't take long for the two to subdue the villains. "Thanks for the help"

"I wasn't going to" Izuku spoke as he went back to his current mission.

"Wait what?" Sokka asked taking in what he just said. "Then why did you?"

"Why did you help me?" Izuku asked the man as he recieved the coin.

"Why? Because I believe everyone should help out others. Wether they ask for help or not." The old man answered giving him a smile.

Izuku just Stared at Sokka before he kept on walking. Not wanting to be left behind, Sokka quickly caught up to Izuku. He didn't say anything, learning his lesson from his previous interactions.

On their little adventure, the two ran into a group of their classmates. It looked like they had just finished off a group of Villains. But they looked tired.

"Yo, Kaminari" Sokka called out getting the groups attention.

"Yo, Sokka" Kaminari waved the two over. Knowing the group was alright in the moment and with Kaminari and Sokka's blabbering, he just took off unnoticed. Or so he thought.

"Where you going?" Toph asked, stopping him in his tracks.

"What do you want?" Izuku asked resuming his walking.

"For you not to leave me with those two. That's what I want." Toph spoke only to get silence from Izuku. She just took this as a yes and followed right behind him. "So, I heard your performance during the battle trial was the best amongst everyone else." Toph spoke trying to break the silence between the two. But just like before, he just ignored her.

She took It as a grain of salt since she was able to make conversation with most people in the class, including Bakugou, except for him and the half and half boy.

The two continued on in silence until they reached the center of the USJ. The two hid behind a large rock. Izuku took a quick peek only to see his teacher pinned to the floor and a man with a hand over his face standing over him. When he placed his hand on Aizawa's elbow, it looked like it started to Decay. Izuku reached for his sword, but Toph stopped him.

"Dont. Even I know neither of us would win that fight." Toph spoke quietly. Knowing she was right, he just let go of his sword. But apparently the two weren't that quiet. Izuku took another peek to see the handy man was making his way to their location.

Seeing Izuku poke his head out, his suspicions were confirmed. He started to full on sprint towards them. But right when he got close, a giant pillar of rock shot up from the ground, sending the man into the air. Izuku watched in awe as he soared through the air only to be caught by the same mist from earlier.

"Nomu, Kill them" The handyman ordered. As the so called new took its first step, there was a loud bang. Toph cover her ears from hoe loud it was.

"I had a bad feeling. I passed young Iida on my way and got a rough idea of what had happened. That is why I must proudly say..." All Might slowly stepped through the door, walking towards the stairs. "Its ok because I am here."

"You trash of society" the handyman spoke to himself.

Within one swift move, All Might took out any remaining villains and grabbing Aizawa. After grabbing Aizawa, he grabbed both Toph and Izuku.

"You two get him out of here. I got this" All Said turning his frown into a smile. Izuku just went to grab Aizawa. Toph also helped with grabbing Aizawa.

As the two ascended the large set of stairs, Izuku loomed back to see All Might Fighting the nomu. But his attention was turned to Toph, seeing her falling a bit behind. He stopped so she could catch up.

"Dont wor-" She was interrupted by a flying villain grabbing her. Izuku watched it happend in what felt like slow motion. He looked at Toph and then to Aizawa trying to decide what to do. He couldn't just leave Aizawa on the stairs and All Might was too Busy to help Toph.

"Fuck" Izuku whispered to himself before he made his decision.
