"This way Ms.Alinac." She was guided further inside the large building as people turned to look at her.
Jennie had little to no meetings that needed her to be in the Tokyo branch, and the last time anyone around there had seen her in person was either in one of her other foreign trips, at South Korea, or two years ago.
"The archive is held at floor 13, we've made it our most secure floor as there are no workspaces on the floor, and little to no clearance." The man explained as she simply nodded, walking behind him, followed by a few members of her own team.
"What's the security of the room like?" She asked as they paused for the elevator.
"Well there's two levels of the same room. The basic level is for anyone with the clearance, as we write reports often being the analytic focused branch." He explained as he scanned his ID to press the 13th button.
"And the second?" She asked, leaning against the wall of the elevator.
"Restricted for the Alinac family, and only those of the family with access. That currently only includes your father and you. It's bound with a state of the art locking system, and cannot be picked nor broken. It only opens through a iris scanner for the family." He explained as she piqued an eyebrow.
"And how are we going to go in?" Jennie asked, as there was no memory of her inputting her own data in.
"Well, your data was saved from the last time. Your father brought the online scan of your iris in a burner usb. No one has a replica nor the original anymore, other than the machine." He explained as the doors opened and the party followed him out.
"Well what if that fails to work?" She asked as he shook his head.
"It shouldn't, but if it does, we have to access the mainframe, the reason we called the team behind the tech to be on standby today." He explained as they reached the first entry point.
"Who'll be coming with us from here?" The man asked doing a once over of the large group as Jennie looked back as well.
"Just my secretary and I, along with you I presume." She mused as the others got the signal to wait in the lobby, as the first entry doors were opened.
"Let me get what's in here first, and then we'll move on." She spoke as she pulled out her I pad to look at the file and data directory.
Walking ahead, she navigates through as she reached a sector of the data storage, as she took out her usb to plug it into one of the rows in order to make a replica of the data in the storage.
Doing so a few more times in a few more locations, she made her way back to the file storage areas, walking to designated shelves as she pulled out file after another, stacking them on the other twos arms.
"Okay... I'm done here. Let's go to level two." She spoke as she turned around to face them, as they nodded, a little more strained then before as they walked over.
"Here it is. Our top of the line system." The man praised as Jennie inquisitively analysed it.
"Let's give it a go then." She mused, pulling of her sunglasses as she slightly leant in towards the scanner.
The light turned from blue to purple, indicating it was scanning, before a green hue appeared, indicating it worked as the door unlocked.
"Wow... rare to say this but... I'm impressed." She smiled, as she ran her fingers over the framing of the door.
"Thank you Ms.Alinac, I'll relay your words to the team. I'm afraid this is it for us, as we're under strict instructions to not let anyone else enter, including Ms.Lia. We'll have to wait outside." He warned as Jennie nodded.
