Taehyung anxiously strode into work.
Jennie was hiring a private detective to investigate on his board members, as it would be easier to justify to her dad that the reason behind it was for future leverage.
She returned to her family manor earlier that day, calling in a work from home as he called in a half day, with an excuse that he slept in.
Every time Taehyung looked around now he divided the employees and staff on two sides of a scale, how many would be on his side and how many in his dads.
He decided that he would have to start garnering the support of his employees in general, as they currently held no opinion of the owners and CEO system, but their vote would count when he would snatch the company from his dad.
He couldn't let the company fall now, could he?
"Start arranging team dinners. We have the budget allocated for it, but since we haven't used it we can treat the development teams to better restaurants." Taehyung instructed regarding the core teams of the company, who were supposed to be treated once in a while but they never found the priority to.
"Will you be attending?" His assistant, Yeonjun asked in a suprised manner at the unexpected request?
"Have you lost it? You're in charge of my schedule, you tell me?" Taehyung asked rhetorically with playful sarcasm, as Yeonjun chuckled, still noting his request down.
"I'll go to two or so." Taehyung muttered as they walked into the board room.
"Taehyung, you're finally here." His father commented being the only other person in the room as Taehyung cleared his throat, viewing him differently now that he found out what was going on.
"Yeah sorry. I decided to stay in since I went home late last night." He said as his father hummed in response, taking his own seat at the head of the table.
"This doesn't have anything to do with the wedding right? I'm sure Jimin will understand if you dropped out due to too much work, you're managing a global company after all." He said, as if it was an easy feat while Taehyung just sighed.
"No dad, It's nothing to do with the wedding. We're just reaching the ending stages of the development for Triste." He clarified as he sat down, lying to his father as he had numerous times.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out that his father hasn't caught on anyways.
Just as he was about to say something else the rest of the executive team stepped foot into the meeting room, bringing upon an automatic end to their familial conversation,

"This way please Ms.Alinac. Ms.Hart has already arrived at the private room." One of the attendants guided as she stepped through the doors of the hotel, as Jennie subtly nodded at her assistant before following, taking her signature black sunglasses off in the process.
The doors opened as she was greeted with the usual blonde figure buried on her phone, as Jennie smiled while the attendant closed the door behind her.
"Well hello soon to be Mrs.Spade." Jennie teased placing her bag on the opposing chairs and settling down on the couch like seating next to Roseanne, Rosé for short.
She loved that her friend still managed to turn fifty shades of pink every time her fiancé was mentioned.
"Hey there Jane."The girl responded in response as Jennie still couldn't get over the smile on that girls face, which grew a megawatt brighter ever since he placed that blush pink ring on her finger.
