"Isn't that a given? You know, CEO's kids and all.." Taehyung responded a little confused as she just stated their career path.

"No Taehyung, we're going to isolate the company from our parents. Remove them entirely." She stated exasperatedly as she leant back on his couch.

Taehyung just stared at her for a second, before bursting out laughing.

"What, you wanna try and take away the current cores of our companies? What next, change the board of directors too?" He joked, expecting her to laugh along but she just sat there silently.

"Oh no... oh.. you're serious?" He straightened up, placing his cup down as he stared at her again, possible more confused.

"Look, you'll understand why when you read this." She muttered, pulling out her folder as she tossed it towards him.

Taehyung just curiously glanced at her before looking down to open it, become even more confused at pictures of her grandfather and her mother.

"What does your late grandfather have to do with anything?" He asked as she took his cup of coffee, sipping at it instead.

"Will you shut it and read? As I said, you'll understand then. Meanwhile, where's your bathroom, might as well freshen up while you're at it." Jennie said as she stood up, opening her large bag and pulling out a smaller bag with a change of clothes.

"First door on your left." He directed as she nodded, leaving to change.

Jennie left, as Taehyung began to read the files.

One by one, each document, each picture, everything led him to new revelations.

It was unbelievable, especially the fact that his parents were largely responsible.

He now understood what she meant, and although the had never thought of isolating his parents, this pay just be the very thing he and the company needs.

Having news and evidence of his parents being the ones behind the murder of the Late Alinac seemed to be news from a parallel universe, yet believable enough knowing the world he grew up in.

Jennie soon came back, as she sat across from him now dressed in a dress that was a lot more casual than something he'd seen her wear.

"Don't question it, I was supposed to be at a spring themed dinner upon return but called it off due to a sudden business implication." She explained as she fixed the ends of the green floral dress she was wearing.

"Wasn't going to. It's a nice different look I guess." He replied as she only chuckled.

"How far have you gotten?" She asked casually, as if they weren't discussing a murder.

"To the part where my parents covered it up by hay wiring the breaks to make it a car crash? Wow, where did they go to school? Psychopath academy?" He commented as Jennie stole his now cold coffee once again.

"Seems like you don't love them that much, seeing how casually you're taking this. Anyone else would be onto the stage of denial." She stated as Taehyung shrugged.

"Knowing how we grew up, you seriously can't expect me to right? There's a reason I don't live with them." He explained as Jennie nodded.

"Well, here's the rest. My mom found out, was mid way of writing..... this report." She paused as she rummaged through to find the half written report as Taehyung took a look at it.

"Then my dad found her and had her killed, told us she left." Jennie said, not letting her anger get the best of her as she had done in that room earlier.
