TRIGGER WARNING SEXUAL
When I type **** this, just skip to the down till you see another ****The first three days of school was extremely uneventful, like to the point where I wouldn't bother you with the details it was that boring.
My mother was back home, Monday was a hard day and I think I cried at least two gallons of tears. Lachlan tried to keep a straight face the entire time and went as far as to shake the doctor's hands who had helped my mother out and even Elizabeth Ross, the nurse at the desk.
That night I went out and got a very special take out dinner and we ate that, talking about what we did on the weekend and what we did on Sunday especially. She was a little disappointed that we didn't just spend the day together, but I recovered well by saying that 'family Sunday' wasn't the same without her which I think she liked hearing. Lachlan braved the storm as he told her he went on a 'casual' date with Mia and after she lectured him about safe sex and relationships, which was a lot of fun for me, she gave it her blessing.
"She's a wonderful girl so you have my blessing Lachlan but if you get that girl pregnant I swear to god almighty I'll chop your thing off." She threatened and I almost choked on my Chinese food.
The talk of the school was still the basketball game last Friday and that's all anyone was talking about. At our lunch table, Sam and Beau relived it over and over, their perfect plays and everyone hung of their words, except Charlie and I who were devising the most brilliant way to get Mia to spill about her and my brother.
Why straight out ask when you could muck around and bait it out of her?
Jenner and Jacob were awfully quiet and sitting on opposites sides of the table sadly and I knew that she must have made her feelings clear and he had rejected her. I felt horrible for her but when I had asked if she wanted to talk about it, she snapped at me and said I was the last person I would talk to about it.
After an interrogation of Jacob he told me that she had asked to hang out and it was all really chilled but over lunch she had accidentally slipped her intentions and he told her straight.
"I didn't want to lead her on you know?" He wouldn't meet my eyes and I sighed heavily. I really didn't want to have the talk with him but I knew that someday soon I would most definitely have to.
Mia had had her lesson and told me that Miss. Fritz wasn't taking any other students and that news killed me. When Beau found out, he looked straight at me his eyes asking me if I was okay and I subtly shook my head. Since he was the only one who knew, I trusted him enough to be honest at least. But with honesty comes questions and every time he tried to talk about it I would just change the subject or the worst one yet, I would start a conversation with someone who is walking past me, my worst conversation starter is, "Have you met our superstar basketball player, Beau Cross? Go get to know him, he loves to talk" before running away. With that one I usually targeted either his friends or girls in younger year levels and it worked every time.
I know what you are all wondering though, what were you and Beau like at school? Did you two kiss again? Are you two together?
Beau and I were exactly the same as we were the week prior to the kissing, except now we kiss whenever we get a moment alone together which is hardly ever but we make do. To be frank, it wasn't like we were dating, we were just having a bit of fun together.
On Wednesday morning after having easily the worse sleep ever all thanks to Mr. Sullivan, I rocked up to school a little earlier than usual due to a meeting about the play I was helping with on Saturday night.
"Finally," Mia exclaimed almost pulling me out of the car herself, "the meeting is about to start." She looked at me and frowned, "You okay?"
"Fine fine, just a little tired. Cya Lachlan." I waved to him and he yawned as he headed straight for the cafeteria to get a coffee.
