"Are you sure we'll be okay, Swolar?"
The colorful, feline-rabbit hybrid we call Alexia asked.
"Yes, I'm very sure, Alexia. Just because people say this place is haunted doesn't mean it is."
The electric, navy blue, not-evil demon named Xeron continued,
"Isn't it bound to be creepy though? I mean, it's a pretty old house."
"Correct, Xeron."
The three of us slowly and cautiously walked through the dark oak, antiquated doors. A cool breeze fluttered around us, and the smell of old furnishings rushed out of the house. Alexia's soft, snow-white tail jerked and puffed up at the rapid sound of footsteps behind. We turned, and it was her feline, twin counterpart, Zelm. He seemed a bit out of breath as he was running, and tried his best to talk.
"Hey! Sorry I- I was running late. My alarm went off and I didn't realize it was for our 12am adventure.. heh.."
Alexia stifled some laughter and muttered,
"Of course you did.."
"Oh, it's fine.. I almost slept through my alarm to-"
Xeron jumped, and his cyan horns flashed a quick indigo and sparked with some bright blue electricity at the sound of a loud bang from inside the house. Alexia and Zelm were startled by this as well, and I swiftly turned around to get a look at the house. A couple seconds later a hyperactive voice started speaking,
"So that's where you guys went!!"
A soccer-ball sized, floating, orange-horned, swirly-eyed, golden fuzz-ball darted out the doors and swirled around the four of us. Xeron yelled out,
"Ziz, you scared the heck out of me."
"I know, buddy! Sorry about that.."
