You were really beginning to have a difficult time with your assignment in mastering magic in such a short period of time..

You'd of course gone your whole life without knowing of the existence of magic and now it were somehow expected of you to become an expert in the field..

All you'd managed to pull of thus far were 'STAY' but you were convinced that routed from anger which Solomon told you wouldn't actually get you anywhere. Not to mention it only worked because of the pacts you had with the demons princes.

...Easy for him to say he had thousands of years of experience..

How old were he anyway..

Solomon had begun offering classes at the sorcerer's society and Lucifer immediately signed you up for one of his classes.

"Your magic is less than adequate" his low deep voice rang through your mind as you gulped.

With Solomon now assigned as your teacher.. you were really starting to get distracted by him.

It didn't help that you were terrible at the subject not to mention he made you so nervous you couldn't even think when he called on you in front of the entire class each day.

You were so embarrassed every single time. You never knew the answers to his impossible questions!!

He'd only get mad and order you to stay after class so he could lecture you and make you feel even worse.

Today was test result day for mid-terms. You watched as he casually walked along the row of desks handing each student their test results face down.

He skipped your desk several times and you were actually starting to sweat.

You knew you failed.

He slowly headed back for the front of the class and nodded.

"You may all be dismissed"

You were stunned. He hadn't even given you your result back though?

You gulped and started to gather your things as did everyone else.

"Y/n. You're staying" he ordered firmly before you could even slink past.

You died a little inside as you went back for your desk and waited with your head down.

You gripped your skirt nervously as you watched all the other students exit the room quietly leaving just you and your teacher.

All the other students reminded you of demons with their perfect scores and their perfect lives..

Back in the exchange program you felt the same way being the only human. Now you had no excuse as you were now surrounded by humans and still  flunking.
