Mammon x Reader Babysitting

Neither you nor Mammon were certain of how it happened.. 

It sure came as quite the shock.

The event.

You had spent most of the afternoon asleep for you needed the rest after all the study prep during the RAD midterms. Now that they were over you just wanted to catch up on a little rest.

After waking up from your long catnap you reached over to the nightstand beside your bed to check your D.D.D that you had set to silent prior to dozing off. As soon as you unlocked it you were hit with all the notifications from Mammon.

15 Text Messages 

You could have sworn you told him you were going to sleep so it had to be something worrisome.

The last text message read: Y/N PLEASE! GET YOURSELF DOWNSTAIRS NOW 

The desperation in his text made you sweat a little wondering what kind of trouble he got himself into now. You half expected to have to save him from Lucifer like you often did. He usually deserved the punishments but you had an obvious soft spot for the second born and shamelessly swept in to rescue him each time. You may have had a small crush..

At first his brothers hated seeing you do anything for Mammon thinking he were just using you to his greedy advantage but then they soon realised Mammon weren't doing that at all. Had it been anyone else he'd have of course milked the cow dry but with you that all came to an unusual stop. As if the sin went in reverse he would start showering you with gifts and good fortune. 

Mammon were probably as equally baffled as his brothers were to see himself acting like this. It were almost frightening to see him do something altruistic. 

 You were too oblivious to realise what were really happening at first that is until Asmodeus finally told you. 

..You remember how the butterflies stirred through your stomach.

From there you freely allowed yourself to grow closer with him. You started to notice all the small hints and signs of his feelings toward you and couldn't wait for it to bloom into something more. 

You wanted to initiate it but noticed how his brothers would sort of stand back and snicker since after all that he still wouldn't make a move. He of course would still hit on you relentlessly but he just couldn't seem to get the right words out when it came to starting a relationship with him.

Aware of his slight embarrassment you remained patient deciding to let him gain the courage so that his brothers wouldn't make any fun.

Straightening yourself up you left your room in a bit of a hurry to go find out what was going on with him. You walked down the hall and started toward the staircase when you completely froze in your tracks. You couldn't believe you hadn't noticed all the noise sooner.. because the House of Lamentation were completely over run by children.

At a loss for words as you sort of stood there frozen in the middle of the staircase. Not only were there kids yelling and screaming everywhere but they were very familiar looking.
