The moment you heard it. The news. 

You entered a delirious sort of state.

You couldn't even believe it..

He had really done that to you?

That horrible feeling in the pit of your stomach that made you want to flee. To panic.

You were cheated on

By the one you trusted most of all.

He betrayed you in the worst possible way; it felt like your whole world had been shattered and you instantly wanted to escape this..this ..place... this once fun and thrilling environment.. now actually felt like a living Hell and you wanted nothing to do with it anymore.

You could feel your ears ringing as blood rushed through your nervous system pooling your mind with fears and anxiety.

You needed to get out of here fast.

You were currently standing in one of the dark halls to the Royal Academy after hours. The lit torches were faintly keeping the path alight as your mind kicked into overdrive.

It were always fight or flight with you and you always picked flight. 

You were moments from creating a portal as you outstretched your shaking gloved hand. You felt something trickle down your neck not even realising you were crying. The beautiful wisps of magic began to form and combine offering you the sanctuary which you desired; the way out. 

You didn't even want to say goodbye to anyone.

Your heels clicked as you moved forward ready to step through that portal and never turn back when you felt someone grip you by your upper arms and try to shake you from your daze.

Someone were calling out to you trying to get your attention but it sounded like their voice were underwater. You blinked just trying to focus yourself. 

"Y/n."

"Y/n!"

"Look at me! Y/n!" that strangely familiar voice lulled itself through your mind pulling you from your empty trance. Your wide eyes finally met with a blurry figure as he kept himself planted in front of you not wanting you to leave.

Simeon's gentle features slowly came into view as all that panic began to recline enough for his voice to reach you. 

Like warm sunlight piercing through the clouds he somehow managed to reach and cradle you.

His strong arms came around you tightly pulling you into his chest and the second you registered his support more tears came streaming down your cheeks.
