When Beelzebub woke up early morning he sat up with surprise to see you cuddled in his brother's bed.

He got up worriedly only to stop upon noticing the happy look on your face while you slept.

Belphie were dead asleep while you breathed sleepily against his chest. The two of you didn't look that unnatural together either. Beelzebub's expressions softened and he refrained from disturbing the special moment.

There were an unspoken relief amongst the House of Lamentation after that; just from seeing you revert to your natural sunny ways. You no longer wore a mask around them and it pleased the Princes when you and Belphie made up.

It did come as a surprise however just how close the two of you became after that. He seemed to always be there to pick you up from places and escort you.

You'd come out from your class and he'd be standing in the hall waiting casually. The way you lit up everytime made it worth it for him. He just wanted to keep being the reason you were smiling even if that meant taking the relationship further.

He made peace with the fact that you were human and not just that; but you were meant to be with him.

He should have known from the moment his violet eyes landed on you that you were going to have a deep wave effect over not just the Devildom but his and his brothers' lives.

Knowing of the positive impacts you had only made him want to safeguard you from everything in the three worlds. To him you were precious and fragile; something which needed to be shielded at a moments notice and he were prepared to. After what he'd done.. he felt responsible for you.

He promised he would be the one to keep you safe from harm.

You certainly took notice of the turn in protectiveness he took over you. It warmed your cheeks knowing someone like him cared that much about you. Just seeing a tall dark and handsome Prince waiting outside with a dangerous smile were enough to set anyone's heart ablaze..

You felt magnetised to him even if he were once the most dangerous thing in the mansion. His love were obsessive at times... and yet a guilty pleasure of yours. Sometimes the dark and dangerous types were the most alluring to the heart..

In the time you spent growing close and comfortable you quickly noticed your relationship escalating beyond friendship. From him holding your hand.. to the small touches which lingered.
