Chapter 3

When I was in front of his bed, I tiptoed and stretched to the side his face was facing and gasped.

He was the same strange boy that came throughout the tornado portal. Out of curiosity, i walked closer to him to get a good look at his face.

For an unknown reason, my body got hotter as I got to him and I felt a strange urge to touch him.

I raised my hands to his face and was about to trace his brow when his hands suddenly held mine and he opened his eyes.
He looked frightened but I'm sure it was nothing compared to the look of utter shock on my face.

I stared at his capturing jet black eyes while he stared at my brown eyes before examining my entire body.

"Say something" his raspy voice spitted as he leaned closer to me.
I closed my eyes, trying to understand this feeling.

"Who are you" I asked as I opened my eyes again.
He raised a brow then tilted his head, observing me yet still looking confused.

"What is your name?" He asked me, ignoring my question.
I stared at him suspiciously but answered, thinking he could somehow help me with my answers.
"Dinah" i said lowly.

He raised his brow again "Dinah?" He said then closed his eyes as though  he was trying to remember something.

Suddenly he furrowed his brow and placed his hands on his head like he was in pain.
"What's wrong?" I asked as I touched his head.
When my hands touched him, he looked at me again   and became calm.

"Dinah" he said again. I nodded
puzzled, i asked again "Who are you?"

"Rocco" he replied and in a blink of an eye, I was back in my bedroom, looking at Emmanuel and Jessica's  worried faces.

"Thank God" Jessy exclaimed whilst staring at me.
"What happened, did you get anything?" Emmanuel asked impatiently which resulted in him getting smacked by Jessica on his head "ouch" he said out loud and Jessy gave him a sarcastic smile then said  "calm down first and help sit her up"

"I'm fine" i intervened, "I wasn't hit or anything" I explained to her. Although felt a bit drained, I wasn't hit or anything so I could still walk

"It's fine, you've been through a lot" Jessica argued whilst assisting me.
"My mind is messed up, not my body Jessi" I retorted and her lips twitched.

"I know you're worried but I'm fine" I reassured "Confused but fine" I added

"Okay" she replied letting go of my body and sitting beside me.
"Can you talk about what happened now?" Emmanuel asked when I was sat comfortably.

Jessica narrowed her eyes at him but i knew underneath all the consideration was curiosity.

"Yes, I'd love to actually"  I answered Emmanuel's question   "I asked the questions to the voice in my head before I fell asleep" I said "but sadly I didn't get any answers"

"Shit" a sad looking Emmanuel said then added "we'll get answers soon, you know that right"
"Yes, don't be discouraged D" Jessy encouraged.
What they didn't know what I wasn't feeling sad, just confused.

Meeting Rocco was strange, I know strange things have been happening lately but for some reason, this particular event left me with a beautiful but shaken feeling.
"I didn't get answers but something happened" i said in a low tone to them.

"What happened and why are you smiling?" Emmanuel squinted as he asked
"I saw that boy again and I'm smiling because I'm anything but discouraged, in fact I think we have a lead" I stated confidently.
