Two Excited Dudes

I woke up the next morning feeling too excited to succumb to any morning pregnancy fatigue.
I glanced at a shirtless Rocco as i came out of the bathroom.I smiled at his figure, don't worry Rocco and I didn't do anything x rated.
It was only cute and cuddles but i was very satisfied.

I had already had my bath and Rocco was still sleeping. Walking out to him, i called out his name "Rocco" in an attempt of waking him up.

"Rocccooo" i shook his body.
When he started stirring, i stopped and started at him "I'm hungry" i said when he opened his eyes.

He blinked, adjusting to the light and my vision in front of him "good morning to you too" he yawned and i just stared "I'm hungry" i said again, a bit harsher this time.

"Babe, it's still morning, why are you even up?" Ge asked. "It's 12" i corrected and he widened his eyes.

I gave him a sarcastic smile then showed him the time on my phone screen.
"Wow you really drained me babe" he smirked and i shook my head with a smile.
"Just brush your teeth and make breakfast please" i demanded. He stared at the ceiling for a moment then snapped back to and headed to the bathroom,

Assuming he was going to clean up, i went to the kitchen to wait.
He waltzed in the kitchen a few minutes later "why didn't you just make breakfast?" He asked as he got water from the fridge.

"Hate to fuel your pride or anything but yours tastes better" i said truthfully and he smirked victoriously
"Maybe it's just the pregnancy craving something sweet from you" i added shrugging and watched as his smile widened "yea, or you just craving me, i know" he proudly said which resulted in an eye roll from me.

"Jessica said she'd leave by twelve so she'll be here soon, although she did mention that she'd stop at Emmanuel's office" i said to him and he nodded

He began to bring all the things he needed from the fridge "she might not come as early as you think then" he said and i nodded in agreement "yea"

I watched as he brought beans, chicken and some other things and said "you didn't even ask what exactly i was craving"
His face fell "oh shoot, what love?" He asked
I smiled at the nickname "just kidding, surprise me" i responded and he nodded "gotcha" he winked then turned back to his food

"I'm sorry for waking you up like that" i said sadly and he turned around to face me then walled to me and kissed my forehead "you have nothing to be sorry about, in fact, you have the permission to call me at all moments"
I looked at him in awe, is he actually real?
"Whenever you need, call babe" he assured then went back to cooking

"Since today is going to be busy for you and you're going to be out, figured I'd find something to do" Rocco said an hour later when he served our dishes
"I'll go to the saloon today, work some more and get some incomplete wigs back home" he told and i nodded
"Thats a good idea" i took a bite of my food.
We talked throughout our meal and just when we were finishing, we heard the doorbell ring.

I smiled, already knowing it was Jessica.
"I'll let her in" Rocco said and went to open the door for her.

I took our plates to the sink and cleaned up quickly.
I headed to the parlor to see Jessica but what I didn't expect was to see Emanuel sitting at my couch beside Jessica.

"Hey girl" Jessica stood up and hugged me.
I took my eyes off Emanuel and focused them on her.
When she released me from the hug, Rocco and i shared an eye contact, silently passing a message. We were both confused at what Emanuel was doing here.

"What a surprise" i referred to Emanuel as i took the seat opposite them
"Hey Dinah" Emmanuel greeted and i nodded.
I could feel Rocco getting unnecessarily defensive as his stature changed and he held my hand tight as if he wanted to pull me to him.
