In school, someone told Aurora that Ashton had been seen kissing another girl.

This made Aurora confused, because Ashton said he loved her. People who love each other don't kiss other people.

When she asked him about it, he said he didn't kiss anyone. He denied everything she said. When Aurora started to ask another question, he hit her.

She didn't see the hand coming at her face because it was moving so fast. She remembered staring into his big hazel eyes and then looking at the ground. She saw stars everywhere, making her vision black and blue.

Aurora held her cheek in pain and Ashton stared at her furiously. He asked how she could even believe the other people. He said he loved her, so she shouldn't question it.

Then he said that he was sorry and that she was very special to him. And she said she loved him too.
