"Thank you, I really mean it." She said as she tended to his wounds.

"Thank me by staying out of trouble." He replied as he let her stitch the side of his arm.

She only chuckled slightly, getting a look from him.

"You know I can't do that." She said as he sighed.

"Still, try your best to stay alive. I know we don't know eachother all that well since we recently met, but don't throw your life away. Those who live are winners." He said as he looked up at the sky.

She thought about what he just said, slowing down on the wrapping of the injury and whispered.

"Tengen said the same thing..."

She was caught up into her memory of him that she didn't notice (Y/N) glance towards her.

"The hot-headed ninja guy?" He asked as she got broken out of her thoughts and looked up at him.

"You know him?" She asked as he nodded.

"Yeah, I met him. Now that I think about it, it makes sense. You're both shinobi, so I could've connected the dots earlier. Still, what a coincidence." He said as he continued to look up at the sky.

She stood silent for a moment, watching him gaze at the stars.

"You're..." She hesitated, it has been a long time since she's talked to anyone other than Tengen, Suma or Makio who knew of her upbringing.

Except the Master, she knew most people wouldn't be kind towards her kin.

"You're not... Repulsed...? By me being a kunoichi?" She asked as he turned his head to look at her.

"Why would I be? As far as I see, you're doing the same thing I'm doing." He said as she lowered her gaze slightly.

"Taking a life isn't a luxury, nor is it saving one. So don't beat yourself up over it, it doesn't suit your pretty face." He said as she nodded.

A rather comfortable silence resumed, it was almost like words weren't needed to confirm the meaning behind his statement.

As she continued to patch him up, she heard him say.

"The moon sure is beautiful on nights like these."

She was surprised, does he know what he just said?

"You know... I'm married, right?" She asked, confusing him.

"Ye- Wait, what does that have to do with this?" He didn't understand.

"Nevermind." She waved it off.

She laughed slightly at his reaction, he wasn't from around these parts it seems, well, his name kinda gave that away, but still.

"You don't have to worry about it." She said as he only nodded his head with a puzzled look.

'In this line of work, death is right around the corner, but with your way of talking I don't think that's the only thing you're gonna have to worry about.' She thought and sighed to herself, finishing wrapping his arm.

'Though if that's for better or worse, I don't know.'

"I better go then, they're waiting for me." She stood up, but he stood up after her and put his hand out.

She looked down at it for a second before shaking it.

"It was a pleasure meeting you. Don't forget to stay out of trouble." He said as she only shook her head slightly as he disappeared from in front of her.
