Getting Along

Your raven showed you the way to a quinjet which got you there, getting in they informed you that the others have caught Loki.

"Alright, tell the boss that Barton's been either brainwashed or tortured. It seemed like he was out of it." You told the pilot as he nodded and started taking off.

You sat down, wrapping your shoulder in cloth before leaning backwards as you slowly, and painfully, fell asleep.

Loki is seen contained in a large glass cell held by hydraulic rigs.

"In case it's unclear. You try to escape. You so much as scratch that glass." Nick Fury says as he presses a button and the hatch underneath opens, showing a large drop.

"Thirty thousand feet, straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?!" he asks as he closes the hatch.

He points at Loki "Ant." then at the button "Boot."

Loki smiles. "It's an impressive cage. Not built, I think, for me."

"Built for something a lot stronger than you." Fury responds as Loki looks up at a camera.

"Oh, I've heard."

Thor, Bruce and Steve are seen watching the interrogation go on as the screen goes black when Fury leaves.

"He really grows on you, doesn't he?" Bruce asks the two in a joking manner.

"Loki's gonna drag this out. So, Thor, what's his play?" Steve asks looking to Thor.

"He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard or any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the earth. In return, I suspect, for the Tesseract." Thor says walking up to the table.

Steve looks at him in a 'Seriously?' way. "An army? From outer space?"

"So he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for." Bruce says connecting the dots.

"Selvig?" Thor asks looking at him.

"He's an astrophysicist." Bruce responds.

"He's a friend" Thor corrects him as Natasha leans forward.

"Loki has him under some kind of spell, along with one of ours." She says as someone approaches from behind.

"Yeah, he seemed really strange." Everyone turns to the voice to see you, with a cloth wrapped on your shoulder.

"What do you mean?" Bruce asks, interested.

"He's a close friend of mine, but he acted... Like he didn't know me. I don't know how to explain it, so here, let me show you." You say as you move the cloth away to reveal the hole in your shoulder from his arrow.

"You fought him?" Natasha asks, now concerned.

"I had to, he attacked me first. I thought I was getting to him near the end but we got interfered by some of Lokis goons. Bastards put-" you couldn't finish as you winced in pain from your shoulder, putting the cloth back on it.

"What I wanna know is why Loki let us take him. He's not leading an army from here." Steve says getting everyone's attention.

"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats, you could smell crazy on him." Bruce responds as Thor catches wind of this.
