New Beginnings

Part 4

Previously - y/n talked to Tammy about her upbringing and how things were at home when she was away. However it's interrupted by a phone call from y/n's roommate asking if she's safe. This in turn leads to y/n letting Tammy know she is gay and Tammy saying she is safe and accepted. They are about to continue the conversation when Constance shouts them for a pizza order and Tammy lets y/n know to call her Tam.

Once you're downstairs everyone is talking and Constance comes up to you and Tammy asking what pizza you want.

As you're about to order Tammy says what you were going to say and you turn to her shocked.

Y/n - "Oh umm that's so weird. I'm the same."

Constance - "Oh that is weird. Maybe it's because-"

Debbie - "Constance why don't you go call them now so we can actually eat at a normal time today."

Constance - "True! Okay I'll be one sec."

She runs off finding her scateboard on the floor and skates outside to make the call. As you watch her you spot someone in the corner.

You can't quite make out their face but you know from the outfit that it's the person who walked away before and you never met them.

Y/n - "Hey umm Tam."

Tammy smiles at you using the name and follows your eyeline to where you're looking.

Y/n - "Is that the artist the girls were on about?"

Tammy - "Yeah it's Rose. Why do you wanna talk to her or...?"

Y/n - "Maybe I don't know. I just like her outfit."

Before Tammy can even answer you Lou interrupts and shouts Rose who frantically drops her pencil and turns around.

Rose - "What? Ah shit! Uhh what's wrong?!"

Lou - "I need your help over here if you don't mind."

Rose - "Of course umm one second!"

You watch her get herself together and walk towards Lou. You can't help but smile at how cute and clumsy she is.

Lou - "Right so I have this idea for a suit I want but I can't seem to find anything like it. So I was wondering if you could maybe make me it custom?"

Rose - "Uh yeah sure I'd love to. Just uh, describe it the best you can to me, maybe get some reference photos and then I'll see what I can do."

Lou - "Ahh that's great thanks Rose. This is
y/n by the way she's Tams niece."

Rose turns to finally see you and you smile at her but she looks to be in some sort of trance.

Y/n - "Hi it's nice to meet you. I really like your outfit. Did you make it yourself or...?"

She doesn't move and Lou nudges her back to reality as she looks around aimlessly trying to understand what she missed.

Rose - "Sorry I umm... I uh..."

Tammy - "She asked if you made your outfit yourself. She likes it."

Rose - "Right! Uh yeah I did thank you. It's uhh... it's one of my favourites I've made so far actually so-"

Y/n - "Well it really is lovely. I'd love to see some more of your work sometime. I'm an artist too so-"

Rose - "Oh really uh that's so interesting. Yes we could definitely do that sometime."
