New Beginnings

Part 11

Previously - You asked Rose to help you with a mock-up and after work she did just that. After giving Lou and Constance tattoos, you work on the garment and get closer with Rose. Once it's done you converse infront of the mirror.

TW- slight anxiety attack

You turn to face yourself in the mirror again to feel the bits she added and smile. Your eyes catch her in the reflection, crawling on the floor struggling. You wish you could get out of this dress to help her.

Y/n - "Hey umm I'll help you one second! Let me just loosen the tacks in this other side and get out."

As you loosen them Rose comes and holds the dress in it shape so you can step out. You gently place your hands on her shoulders to keep your balance while stepping out and then help her place it back onto the mannequin.

Once it's all pinned up you step back to view it from afar.

As you do so you catch Rose in your eye line and the feelings get even more intense in your heart and chest.

Y/n - "Perfect."

You see rose nod and know she thinks you're talking about the dress but then you get even more overwhelmed with emotion and don't notice yourself losing your breath.

Rose - "Hey! Hey y/n sweetheart are you okay you're breathing quite heavy honey. Here let me help you sit down."

You look down as her hands touching your arms and allow her to take you to the sofa.

Once you sit down you place your hands on your head to catch your breath and you feel roses arm around you as she pulls you into her.

Rose - "Hey, come on honey it's okay. You're safe it's just me and you okay. You're safe sweetheart, I promise."

You feel her hand stroke your leg and you finch.

Rose - "Hey hey it's okay! It's just me y/n. Can you look up at me please honey."

You take a deeper breath as you do somehow feel a lot calmer in her arms and lift up your head to face her. She grabs your hands and holds them in hers on your lap as your breathing's slowed down.

Rose - "Do you know why that happened sweetheart?"

You close your hands taking another deep breath and let go of her hands. Placing your hands over your face to fully ground yourself.

You feel roses hand on your leg but this time you don't flinch. You let her keep her hand there. Until you finally hype yourself up to speak.

Y/n - "Rose."

Rose - "Yes honey are you okay?"

Y/n - "I do need you."

Roses eyes lock onto yours and you're tearing up.

Rose - "Oh sweetheart it's okay."

She grabs you again holding you.

Rose - "What is it honey you can tell me! I promise whatever you say stays between us. I just want to be here for you okay."

You nod and hold onto her hands. You're so nervous and you don't even fully know if you can say it but you know from what just happened, that you can't hold it in any longer. You have to tell her before it happens again infront of more people.

Y/n - "I umm... I saw you."

Rose - "You saw me do what sweetheart?"

Y/n - "No... I saw you. And... I guess my heart got too loud and I panicked. "
