New Beginnings

Part 10

Previously - Rose helped y/n and y/n apologised to Tammy and Debbie. After spending the evening she woke up alone and bummed a cig from Lou before speaking to Rose. She told her what happened that night and she gets embarrassed and panics. Lou and Rose help her and she heads out to get more meds. Eventually she's home again with the others.

Y/n - "Rose?"

She looks up startled and makes a pencil mark on her drawing.

Y/n - "Oh shit Im sorry! Let me get rid of it!"

You go to grab the eraser as she does and your hands touch.

You look into her eyes and smile.

Y/n - "I've got it. I promise."

She smiles and you get rid of the mistake. Once it's gone you pick up the piece and look at it.

Y/n - "Wow. It's beautiful Rose."

You look at her making eye contact and smile. She looks down nervously.

Y/n - "So... I kind of have this idea for a gown I'm working on and I was just wondering if you could help me if I showed it to you tomorrow?"

Rose is staring at you but not answering and you get the feeling she's in some sort of trance.

Y/n - "Rose?"

Rose - "What- right sorry- what did you say?"

You laugh and look into her eyes.

Y/n - "Would you be free tomorrow for me to show you one of my pieces i'm working on?"

Rose - "Oh umm- sure."

Y/n - "Ahh thank you so much! It's almost done, it just could really use your amazing eye on it to see if anything could be changed."

Rose - "I'd love to help sweetheart. I'm working until 8 tomorrow, but after that I'm free?"

Y/n - "Oh but I wouldn't want to catch you after work though. I'm sure you need to rest after or to just have time for yourself I-"

Rose - "No it's okay honestly! I like my job. Yes it can be hard work and very intense, but I enjoy it. I'd love to help you with your design y/n and I most definitely would love your company tomorrow."

You smile and hug her thanking her and you get that feeling again. You can't pin what it is and you've never felt it like this before. You brush it off and leave her to her work, grabbing some water and heading up to bed.

The next day you spend most the morning doing Constances tattoo ideas. Trying to, with the help of Lou who's looking at your old sketches, convince her which you feel are good and bad decisions when it comes to random Pinterest designs she found. Eventually you do a few small ones for her and she leaves to catch the Metro. After a short break you sit down to give Lou another arm tattoo she's wanted of the chemical structure of alcohol. You thought it was weird at first when she suggested it, but it actually looks pretty cool once you put the stencil on and start the outline.

Once it's done Rose is back with Debbie and Tammy too.

Lou - "Woah cheers! It looks sick."

She gets up to check in the mirror.

Lou - "Damn y/n you little ripper. That's perfect! I'll go wrap it now alright. See yous later."

You laugh and say bye watching her run upstairs. Debbie soon notices the equipment and realises what you've been up to, getting exited and running after Lou to see it upstairs.
