Chapter 14: Is this real...

Maria's POV

"Well, this is what happens to those who try to escape!" Sigaw ni Tyler, he punched Maxwell hard on the gut.

"No!~" I screamed, trying to stop them with my voice but it was no use. Tyler and his minions kept on punching and kicking Maxwell and Marshall, and all I could do was scream and cry.

"And as for you Maria, trying to act so tough..." Tyler said, while pulling my hair.

Tyler and his minions kept on punching Maxwell and Marshall, a few minutes then the door barged open by... Sylvester!

Ohh thank stars, the assassins are here to rescue me...

"Well well well, isn't it the twin brother of Maria. How nice of you to join us here, Mikhail Ian Zyrell Arturia." Sabi ni Tyler ng makita niya ang kapatid ko... wait why is Zyair here?! What is he doing here?!

I couldn't say or do anything but watch, Tyler was about to throw a punch at Zyair, luckily he dodge the punch, I saw forest trying to free and help Maxwell and Marshall, Zayir suddenly tried to take the handcuffs but he was getting terrified and can't get the handcuffs out...then I heard a gun being fired...

I looked around to see who was shot but I couldn't find anyone, but I felt something dripping on my legs, I looked at Zyair... No... this isn't happening...

I immediately took the handcuffs off and held Zyair...

"Air! No! Look at me, stay with me Air!"

"You Jerk, You'll pay for this Tyler!" I screamed from the top of my lungs. Forest helped me, while Sylvester and Mik carried Zyair, the other reapers helped Maxell and Marshall.

It's been an hour after the yacht incident, Air is still inside the Emergency Room, Maxwell, Marshall, and I were getting our wounds treated.

"Sis, I know Air will fight through this, he's a tough man." Mik consoled me but it didn't make me feel better.

Mom, Dad, Meeshell, Kuya Mason, at si Kuya Tin ay kararating lang. They all asked me if I as okay, but I remained Silent.

Bumaling ng tingin si Kuya Mason kay Maxwell at Marshall.

"Woah, does my eyes deceive me, Shell kamukha mo itong dalawang narescue ni Zaine." pang asar ni kuya mason kay Shell, She gave kuya mason a glare.

"Zaine?" wika ni Maxwell

"I think we have heard that name, but I don't remember where." Marshall continued

"Siya si Zaine, ang full name niya is Maria Avery Zaine Eliz Arturia, is there someone you know who has the name "Zaine"?" pagsusumamo ni Kuya Tin.

"Yeah, as far as I remember, kapatid namin si Zaine." Wika ni Maxwell

The air was kind of weird but I ignored it, as soon as the doctors got out I stood up and approached them.

"Doc, kamusta na po ang kalagayan ni Zyair?" I asked with a worried voice.

Looking at the doctor's face I knew that it was bad news.

"Ms. Arturia, I'm sorry to say that he is in a critical condition, we are trying our best to save him."

I fell down to my knees and started to cry, "He suffered so much since the first time I met him..."

"Maria, what... Did you say?" Mik asked with a shocked tone and expression.

"Zyair suffered so much, his mom died when he was three, his father died due to car crash, you know that Mik we were there at his father's funeral... and her sister committed suicide..." I said crying with a cracked voice...

"Maria!, yung memories... mo bumalik na. Mom, Dad, Maria's memories came back!" Mik Screamed that made mom and dad shocked.

"Tin, ikaw muna bahala dito..." mom said and dragged me to my doctor.

Ms. Lucero ran some tests about my memories and my brain activity, and she said "Congratulations Zaine, your memories are back!" she said with joy, mom cried because she was happy, but i wasn't.

As we returned to where the others were, they all looked sad, I felt the air was different...

Meeshell hugged me and said "I'm sorry, ate Maria..."

What's going on, why are they looking at me like that...

"...Kuya Zyair, did not make it..." Meeshell said and started to cry...

No it's not real, this isn't real! Zyair why did you leave me!...why...
