i've never been in love
i've been alone

joshua could only blink at the boy who stressed out about something that he didn't know.
"soonyoung?" he called out with an uneasy expression, he hates it when people he loves feel upset. sure, jisoo sometimes argues and disagrees with soonyoung but the american still considers him family even without any blood or birth related things, he stills calls him his family.

"are.. you okay?" asked joshua as he slowly lowered himself to face the boy. he seemed stressed.
"is it.. about the rumors again?" the american asked again, following the stare he held on his phone that was going on and off with every single message, each one breaking soonyoung's once strong walls with each bullet piercing his heart. the boy was too soft for this, they knew that. they knew how much the hate comments would kill him.

"soonyoung.. there's something more to it, isn't there?" jisoo asked again, the gemini finally breaking into sobs after a few seconds trying to comprehend who he just lied to. "i lied to him, that fucking hurts.. he asked why i didn't mute my phone and i replied with just my parents worrying about me.. they never- ever worry about me." the older could only comfort him by tapping his back in a rhythmic way.
"let it all out, it's okay. we're family remember?" he could see the slight movement in soonyoung's nodding.

you must really like jihoon that much to be crying over a lie you told him because of your hate comments. love does crazy things; not like i would do the same with seok but eh, soonyoung's more whipped than me and that says something. jisoo thought as soonyoung finally calmed down.
"i really like jihoon.." soonyoung finally spoke, jisoo pretending to act shocked at the news.

"oh my god, i totally did not know." soonyoung glared at the boy as jisoo raised his hands up, a teasing smile painting his lips as soonyoung continues to glare. jisoo giggles at the glare as soonyoung speaks, "i hate you."
"and i love you, as a friend and brother."

"i know.." soonyoung spoke.
joshua could only give warmth to so many, and soonyoung could never accept it, only wanting to make his own.
the american just hopes jihoon warms up enough to melt soonyoung's high, icy walls that kept him isolated from sharing emotions, especially sad ones.

jihoon sneezed, the coldness in the air getting to him as the months passed by. he had to do so much and that stressed him beyond the world. his television played songs that continued so many instruments that mixed so well.
he groaned, hugging the blanket closer to him as a cup was placed in front of him. floating white marshmallows covered in a warm hot chocolate drink as the snow lightly fell.

"i made too much, have some if you're feeling too cold." wonwoo spoke, the older was staying with them in the extra room that was not occupied by anyone right now. his dorm-mate kicked him out for some reason and mingyu just happened to remember there was a spare room he could stay in with them.
"thanks," jihoon's cold hand held onto the warm mug of hot choco with marshmallows floating in the brown sweet drink.

the smaller took a small sip and asked the older who pushed his glasses back, "where's mingyu?"
"he's out doing something, he said i couldn't know or leave the apartment until he came back." finally confessing huh? he knows mingyu, he plans to confess to wonwoo in such a cliche way that it was predictable. jihoon thinks it's probably in a garden and he was with the rest to get ready and probably tripping on a few fairy lights they plan to set.

"ah," left jihoon's mouth as he continued to sip onto the drink, a streak of chocolate foam decorating his upper lip once he placed down the cup, licking the foam.
"thanks wonwoo, you make good hot choco for the winter." he spoke and entered his room with the door shutting.

not staying for wonwoo's small whisper of thanks, which mingyu would have waited just for him to say his small thanks in his soft voice.
wonwoo doesn't mind though, he knows jihoon is in a rush so he waits for the boy that made him feel butterflies.

jihoon turned on his laptop and took his musical book filled with musical notes, he also takes a peak from the window that had a view of the garden and be-hold, even in the light snow.
mingyu was on a ladder hanging fairy lights with each step being monitored by jeonghan who fell in love with cliche scenes because of seungcheol whom also confessed to jeonghan in a carousel ride while the sun was sinking.

hansol was helping jun with putting the pink petals on the grass, sprinkling them around like flower-girls in a wedding while snow lightly drops as they hear a shrink from jeonghan.
"no mingyu! your right not mine!" he was talking about directions, and mingyu doesn't stir well with directions unless it's driving.

jihoon sighed, continuing his work but was stopped by a phone ringing.
he picked up, placing the mobile in between his ear and shoulder. "jihoon?" the other line started and jihoon was the one who shrieked this time.

"s-soonyoung-!"
"hey there, sorry for bothering you, by the way, thank you for showing me your ear..?" jihoon felt more embarrassed.

why didn't he read the call first?
