to say jihoon's heart didn't feel heartbroken was an understatement. just seeing a girl clinging onto soonyoung like a koala made his heart hurt and churn. all those memories meant nothing to the gemini huh? wait.. why do i feel like this in the first place?? do i.. like him-?! no- you don't. i don't like him.
jisoo's face looked done with this and wonwoo looked like he was about to murder someone.
seokmin was with them and his face wasn't the same sunshine face he always plastered on— it was more like he was planning on cursing someone, that someone being the girl holding onto soonyoung like a snake.
"jiyeon please, let go of me." he heard soonyoung say, his voice tainted with annoyance. this girl had no shame at all. seokmin and jisoo sighed at the same time and let wonwoo send daggers at the girl. if only he was able to help the gemini in this situation, it would lessen the heartbreak a certain boy from the music department would suffer.
but it was too late, jihoon had already seen the scene unfold like a flower blooming. wonwoo cursed as he remembered something.
seokmin was going to be late to his first class— jisoo has a presentation for his business class and wonwoo is free until his ten am classes with soonyoung.
the clock ticked and hit nine-thirty, wonwoo usually pulled soonyoung with him to be at least twenty minutes early and this 'jiyeon' girl wasn't really helping.
"oh come on soonyoung! just this one! just be my fake boyfriend so my parents can stop bothering me!" the girl pleaded. it was a total trap to make sure her parents plastered him more then ever.

"soonyoung come on, we have to go or we'll be late to english literacy."
"right," soonyoung made sure to not give a look at jiyeon who looked devastated, all though, it looked like her best friend was more heart broken at jiyeon's actions than soonyoung's.
love just loves floating in the air.

jihoon distanced himself from soonyoung without hearing soonyoung's explanation. his heart just couldn't handle the broken pieces that already had shattered on the ground.
sure, there were the casual hellos and stuff but the tension between them never bothered to make sure they said hello to each other like the usual.
the warm day soon turned to a dark starry night. jihoon meddling in his thoughts as the night farther into the next day.
"hey.." the voice was familiar, too familiar.
he hated how much he longed for that voice. soonyoung's voice.
"don't talk to me."
"is there a problem?" soonyoung's voice was soft, hurt and a bit saddened.
"just leave me alone." leave me alone just like before— forget about the day we both met each other. i don't want to be with you.
i hate how much you mean to me— that you took my heart and just crushed it.
"text me once you feel better," jihoon heard something being placed down on the floor, and footsteps walking far away from jihoon.
jihoon's voice cracked as he noticed the flowers behind him. a pretty color that glowed in a pretty pink. he hugged the flowers as his tears dried.
he walked to his dorm, entering the building provided by the university with each step, a lyric forming in his head. "hey!- hey what's wrong?" mingyu immediately greeted, noticing the gloomy mood from the older as wonwoo looks up from his book.
he knew this was gonna happen. he was with soonyoung at the time of the scene. he was there.
"i'm sorry jihoon,"
"it's okay, it wasn't your fault at all." jihoon replied wonwoo who analyzed the flowers, he felt guilty but mingyu saw the guilt forming in his wonwoo and made sure to comfort him.
summer break starts tomorrow, and wonwoo didn't know who to side with.
