jihoon has his hands engulfed into his husband's hands— feeling warmth spread through his palm as the night grew colder each minute that passed by. soonyoung's back is pressed againt the headboard of their shared bed and jihoon's head was settled on top of soonyoung's lap; letting the older run his hand in the blonde locks of the producer after letting go of jihoon's hand.
the clouds are colored in an dark indigo as the sky littered with burning stars blended perfectly with the darkest cobalt colored sky and the glowing moon that brought down light from space.

the producer felt comfortable with everything in his life. he has a loving husband, chaotic friends and the job he loved the most. everything was perfectly colored and there was no need for more added colors into the nearly done canvas of jihoon's life.
just as he was about to shut his eyes to allow sleepiness to take over his body, he heard soonyoung speak with a tired voice as his hand slipped away from the blonde locks of jihoon's hair, "i want a.. baby hoon,"

jihoon jolted out the bed to face his lover with a surprised face, kids? he thought; all his sleepiness disappearing over the span of a minute once soonyoung had brought up the mention of children. the humans with tiny legs, puffed up cheeks and loud crying in the middle of the nights, his husband wanted that..?

was he asking for straight-up insomnia but not from nightmares— from actual living children?
not the horror movie scary kind..?

"mom has been asking for grandchildren hoon, i don't know if i should say no or not because she's my mom- both our mom." soonyoung added to his sentence, noticing how quiet the younger had gotten.

it wasn't like he didn't want kids, it was more like he didn't know if he could look after them without the urge to shout if they made the slightest of noise. sure, he had grown quite fond of his friends' children- choi seungjae since he was a respectable and kind child with the right virtues and understanding.
jeonghan was also highly protective of the boy he raised with his blood sweat and tears.

but his own child?
he shook as the night turned colder, a chill running down his spine as coldness hit him once more— seeping into the room as the clock hanging in the room ticked to the one am mark— "jihoon—?"
silence took over, soonyoung growing nervous each passing second.

"it's okay to decline jihoon— i mean—"
"i guess.. we could.." jihoon looked up and faced the boy with his widen eyes, jihoon agreed to having kids.

before jihoon could repeat it for what seemed a boy frozen in time— warm arms wrapped around his smaller body and the breath the couple was holding in was soon released into the atmosphere— a cloud of mist coming out of their mouths as they sighed into the warmth of each other.
autumn cold made mist form even in their own house.

"thank you," soonyoung whispered, hugging the boy a bit closer.
"thank you so much," jihoon didn't know if the older male was crying in tears of relief or joy— but the fabric of his shirt seeped up whatever emotional tears soonyoung was crying out.

"kwon jiyoung! stop running around i swear—" jihoon yelled out as the giggling from a hyperactive child ran around him, making the young father's head spin and turn like the planets spinning in the solar system around the sun.
"jiyoung.. listen to your dad." soonyoung spoke, silently giggling that the newly adopted child was getting used to the gay couple being her parents.
