The castle was the under the rule of King Harry and Queen Ruth. Their beloved daughter, Patricia, was a train wreck within herself. She rejected every Husband they had lined up for her to marry. She was looking for adventure, someone to travel the world with. Her parents have tried every trick in the book. They even made a plan to bet on her hand in marriage with a prince (he had no part of it) that if she felt a pea under her bed, he'd marry her by the force of the King and Queen. They put a bowling ball under her bed without telling her, (she was also never told of the deal her parents made) but she had the most comfortable sleep in her life. The prince, though he never bargained, was banished from ever returning.
Anyway, the King has left to attend a Cross-kingdom run, and Patricia and her mother were arguing. "Now now, Patricia", said the Queen, "No one will love you if you keep having these fits of yours." "I've told you for the hundredth time now, my name is Patrick!", said the princess. "Why would you still call yourself that? I thought it was just a childish nickname, but I refuse to have my daughter being called a boy! Wait, who are they?" Ham and Grits were seen, and started to run. "No no, please, you can stay.", said the Queen. "What are two children like you doing up at this hour?" Ham and Grits forgot it was the middle of the night. Ham said, "We were looking for a swamp to catch us some frogs." Patrick said, "Do you get out often? Have you seen anyone wandering through the forest like you two, reckless, dangerous, mysterious kids!?" Patrick continued. "You aid frogs, right? Is it true that if you kiss one, he'll turn into the prince if your desire?!" "Patricia!", said Queen Ruth, "Where are you manners?" "Must have fell out the window, like the 5th 'Prep' you gave me." "This does not matter right now. Anyway, do you two children need directions back to your home?" While Patrick was stomping off to her room, Grits said, "No, ma'am, but we could use a place to sleep." "Alright.", said the Queen, "You may stay tonight. Guard, please inform my daughter we'll be having guests tonight." "Your majesty.", said the guard, "Your daughter has left. Again." Rushing downstairs, the Queen was about to open the door when Blue Bell had stepped inside. "I'm ready for my close-up!", she said. "Wait. This is the castle... wrong again!" Before anyone could say another word, a booming noise had just gone off. Every one turned to see. "Wait, is Patricia in her room?," Queen Ruth asked. A royal guard replied, "No, my lady. She was mumbling about some sneaking-out business and mentioned a frog." "Has my daughter kissed a frog? Oh no! I've always told her that thing was a delicate matter. If you aren't a pure princess," said Queen Ruth, as she rushed outside to see where the explosion came from. Even from the top of the stairs of the castle, she was able to look down upon her amphibious daughter.
