"OH MY GOSH!", said the frog, Patrick. Everyone had gone back inside after the accident happened. "Turn me back, turn me back!", Patrick shrieked. "You see what happens when you act like a frog?", said her mother. "If only you would have listened to me, but no, you had to keep chasing fairy tales!" Ham and Grits looked down at the now slimy princess. Even though she was a person before, now she was a frog. "Ma'am", said Ham, "W-We know someone who could turn her back. If you let her come with us, we can turn her back by sunrise tomorrow." The queen thought about Ham's offer, remembering they had come here looking for frogs. To eat. "You're the reason my daughter was turned into a toad! Guards, cease them!" From all sides, Ham and Grits had been cornered. With out thinking, Grits said, "What about her? Ain't she guilty too?" While the guards all looked at Blue Bell, Grits grabbed Ham and ran down the flight of stairs leading to the door. "But, but I just got here! I didn't do anything!", said Blue Bell. Ham and Grits had already been out the door before the guards had noticed they were gone. Panting, Grits said, "We ought to get on home. They catch us, and we're done for." Ham disagreed, saying, "We show up with some frogs, We won't be in as much trouble. The swamps right down that path. We'll get us some frogs, 'n get home before Ma sees us gone." So Ham and Grits ran down the path. But before they were in the woods, they heard a very, very loud scream. That moment, something shook the ground. Ignoring it, Ham and Grits ran through the dark forest. Ham thought it would be difficult to get home before dawn, but then he remembered, it was morning. Where was the sun? Ham and Grits climbed the tallest tree closest to them to see that something was blocking the sun.
